People sure are impatient. Just wait for the update. Some might be today, some tomorrow.

I feel for you. It's a frustrating place to be when you need to turn to Samsung or your carrier for an issue like this. Typically, neither is a painless process.

Now I'm in the position of waiting for the update to show up on my phone again. Maybe the next time it shows up it will work properly, and I won't need to do the FDR or exchange the phone. Fingers crossed. Just not sure how long I'll have to wait ...

Wow, no kidding. I just deleted and re-added my fingerprint and it is noticiably faster. Mine was working well before but it's even better now. +1 for deleting and re-adding your fingerprint aftet the update. I didn't really notice a difference until I did that.

I did the same thing and it made a huge difference.

Having similar issues on us cellular. Lost link to update now, was ready to do a reset prior to trying again. Hoping when the update reappears that it'll work.

No update for me. Verizon S10+. Ultimately a fix would be nice but it's working good enough for me to survive until it's pushed through. Glad to see they are being proactive with updates though.

Got it yesterday on AT&T. FPS speed and reliability has improved quite a bit for me.

Got both March and Fingerprints updates on S10+ AT&T couple days ago. I didn't noticed any improvements on FPS performance right away. I then deleted all fingerprints and re-learned them again. It work great... until next day. The skin got drier due to weather and the FPS performance dropped to the previous level.

Based on what I read it looks like it's going to improve how fast it unlocks but if you are having issues with dry skin or other frustrations, don't think it's going to help much on that. But at least they are constantly working on it. Still waiting to receive the update, let's see.

I wonder if they will make this a part of one of the monthly security patches when they roll out.

I got the FPS patch the other day, and then I did a factory reset for a fresh start, then it took about a day after that for the update to show up again as a pop up install.

Oh, and I dunno what it was, being that a few things happened so closely, such as getting the March Update, the FPS patch, and doing a factory reset, but my FPS works almost every time now.

I don't think they will because it's app based.
