Bionic's still coming, is defintely new hardware - XT875

hahahahaha, the fanboys are so stupid somethings :p. Man... such a crazy over a company that has terrible policies and overpriced products.

I can say 1 thing for certain, even if Moto is stupid enough to release the Bionic that close to the iphone, they wont be loosing me to the dark side. I'll never join the dark side.

No... That's not true... That's impossible! ;) ::snicker::

New Droid Life post with new pic...

DROID Bionic Poses for New Photo, More Than Likely Headed for “Early September” Launch - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog

And they are back to saying a September launch.... Take it with a pound or two of salt at this point.
Im no longer so hopefull anymore.

Even with a second or third revision, and it still takes this long doesnt give me much confidence in the end product. But who knows at this point.

It feels like they are just playing a joke on the consumers at this point. way past the borderline of rediculousness

It looks decent enough, but a Sept. Launch will probably push me to wait for the Nexus Prime... At this point its pure spite and aggravation with Motorola. And I am a pretty big Moto Fan, or was...

Personally I don't put much stock in a '3rd revision' as far has hardware goes. My guess is they were talking about software tweaks with that. All indications point to the Targa/Bionic being a very solid piece of hardware, opinions on any technology used inside of it excepted of course. Actually, from a Motorola standpoint, there isn't even a 2nd revision. This is the Targa has that project was always envisioned from a Motorola point of view.

As for the release - people need to get off of the "it has slipped and slipped and slipped" mantra. The Targa has not slipped. It was always planned for a late Q3 launch. The fact that Verizon decided to brand it with a name for a phone that was scrapped due to unsolvable hardware issues, whatever they may have been, does not make the Targa product late.

Heh! My butt is starting to drag in this marathon I gots to tell ya!

All the while I save my money and lurk in hopes for the competition to raise its head for me to see what they have to offer. The longer they delay, the more chances of return periods over lapping other phones for us to try. The more chances of competitive plans to release between them.

As far as I'm concerned its still a buyers market and they are playing right into our hands.

Side Note on Shopping Around and a Battery consumption report on a competitor:

A friend of mine, a longtime Verizon subscriber went to Sprint to look around and ended up walking out with an EVO 4G on a free trial basis without ending his Verizon account. Nice.

I personally witnessed the amazing Atlanta 4G and the battery power going so fast you could almost see it dropping. The Google Navigation & 4G running at the same time drained the power while plugged into the car charger. Not fast but it was loosing ground. We drove from Cartersville GA to Sandy Springs GA @ 45.1 miles in 59 minutes and the battery power dropped two positions.

To tell you the honest truth I would just be happier if the GS2 Function and Droid Bionic just released official specs so we could make an honest decision on what to do next as Verizon customers.

Is droid life a soap opera / tabloid site? It seems like they post the same thing over and over again flip flopping their stories. Also, the resolution on the vigor sounds more like a tablet than a phone.

Ps I'm having technical issues with Tapatalk. It's cutting off my posts...

I think the point is that other manufacturers aren't just sitting on their hands (obviously) and it's possible Verizon will be getting some pretty powerful stuff towards the end of the year.

You can't wait forever though. This is the downside to having knowledge of technology. It advances too fast!

Being a geezer I am reminded of the muscle car era by all this and love it. I see a race going on for under the hood specs that is heating up. So the delay of the Bionic is starting to not be so bad in my eyes as I wait not only to see what Moto has to offer.

Great... over on DL, the have a screeny of vzwsupports twitter saying that the sgs2 will have..........
4G LTE!!!!
Its going to be a hard decision for me....
