Gentlemen, Can we please agree to disagree? I do not share everyone's view points, nor would I want too. I state something that is true for me (aka my opinion) and someone else would say I am an idiot. To call someone a Liar, Badger and belittle is outrageous. I Enjoy reading all of the comments on this site UNTIL they are nothing more than one person Badgering another person, there is NO value added in those posts.
Just because CK said that Webtop is the worst thing in the world, does that make him a liar??? Hell no, that is his opinion. Do I agree with it? No. Is webtop a waste for me as i will never use it? Yes, but It will not bother me enough to keep me from buying this phone.
Just because CK said that Pentile screen looks like garbage and there are those of us (myself included) who actually really like the Pentile Screen on the DX2, does that make him a liar? No.
One persons views and opinions will not hold weight or reflect the truth of what another persons views and opinions are.
PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF DROID, CAN WE MOVE ON FROM THE BADGERING????
Lets get back to pure phone discussion, speculation, disagreeing, badgering, what have you, and leave personal attacks out of it.
So... with that being said, what the heck is the 3rd Revision of this phone????? O![]()
agreed!
as for the 3rd revision, i have to go back and double check; but, my understanding (from Winston over at HoFo, or on here) is that: the CES Bionic was going to be the first iteration of this phone; the Targa was going to be the second, upgraded generation, i.e., the "Bionic 2" (but now that the first one is scrapped, the Targa is now going to be the first); and they are already working on the third generation, as an upgrade to the phone that hasn't been released yet, and what we are all waiting for (i.e., the "new" Bionic 2, probably to be released in '12). I'm pretty sure the "3rd revision" does not mean that they are tweaking/re-tooling this phone, yet again, before they release it. that's my take on things...
EDIT: i read the Droid Life article, and it does hint at the 3rd revision being made before the Bionic launches. so, i may be wrong. but, i find it hard to believe that Moto, after the delays and cancellation, would risk not meeting its re-re-revised promise for the launch of this phone by retooling this device yet again...
