Keep up. The gpu is clocked at 384 MHz. The 4430s tops out at 300.

Your going off of what DBM said a rep told him then? Or was that posted elsewhere and I missed it? I'm just skeptical, fcc hard facts or what somebody said somebody else told them? Id prefer the 4460 obviously as I said though I'm skeptical. Even more so after winston25 posted on hofo.

I would doubt the FCC docs just as much. They don't care about the processor, so moto could have given them a unit different than the retail one.

FCC cares about the comms of a device (Radios: CDMA, LTE, WiFi, BlueTooth, Etc) so the Proc could possibly be different.

Motorola using the 4460 in the Bionic? Wishful thinking. They will dump the 4430 into it. There's a huge assumption going in that it will be the 4460.

It would be very amusing to me if its the 4430. Everyone keeps complaining about how the D3's specs are underwhelming, would be funny if the bionic was the same...however, if its the 4460 its still only half a step up from the d3.

I also find it amusing how some said that 512 ddr2 ram would be good, even in the face of 1g normal (ddr1?) . When its revealed that it is indeed ddr2 ram, its suddenly not good enough. Seriously though, how does dual channel 512 ddr2 ram compare to 1g of single channel ram?

I hope that it is, and not to pick on DBM but if all you are basing your "fact" on is what some random person told us a verizon rep told him... well I for one would hesitate to call that "fact". Only time will tell. I have a feeling within the next two weeks (maybe this week) we will find out the specs.

it won't have a physical keyboard, only a touchscreen keyboard.

Where are you reading "it's being reported"? If you read an article that said something like that it would give you the processor as well.

I want to see where you are reading this. I'm on vacation so I missed a lot of things but I HIGHLY doubt this article is accurate.

I've been really busy with best buy mobile and am trying to confirm final specs of the bionic. My rep insists its a "a lightning fast omap dual core 4440", but im not sure i believe her. She swears this is what was in the employees guide, but im pretty sure she meant a 4460.because she stated it was a "power vr gpu @ 384 mhz" . Whatever that means.
