Yah, makes no sense at all. I almost bought it 2 weeks ago when I got the upgrade code but I asked if they would do a price adjustment if Blk Fri was better & they said no. I heard the cracked screen promo was ending, so I thought I'd lose that $200 and end up paying the same anyway. Glad they kept it, but there should be a better way to accommodate price adjustments.

I really really need a new phone and made myself wait.

Plenty of people bought right away at $26/mo (like one poster above on this string & it just sours the experience. The phone has only been out for a month. At least offer a gift card or something...

has the $200 cracked screen promo ended already? if not, do you know where I can find the link to that?

Just go on Verizon and put the dt2 in the cart and you can trade in and get the 200 value.

I know people mentioned all the facts already, but this was a really good deal for me. I went into the Verizon store today and came out with the Turbo 2 for $84. It was $624 with $200 off. Add in the $100 dollar off for upgrading with monthly payments brings it to $324. I was also on a 2-year-ago $60 1GB plan, which is now $50. So $10 over 2 years is another $240 off the "upgrade" so in the end my monthly payments went up $3.50, which equals $84 over 2 years for the phone. On top of all that, they will also give me $200 for my Droid Maxx (or my dad's razr if I give him my Maxx and trade in the razr).

Not too shabby. I won't see a deal like that again though unless data plans drop again in 2 years.
