Blu Vivo 5 Android 6.0 ROM (anyone know if this is real?)

I found this website that claims you can update your Blu Vivo 5 to Android 6.0. Since I can't find any additional info anywhere else on the net I wasn't sure if it is real, etc. Anyone by chance already try this?

The process comes from XDA so it's not an official procedure allowed by BLU, which means you'll lose your warranty the second you try it. I usually only do this kind of thing when I'm ready to buy a new phone anyway - if the update works, great! I can use my current phone for longer. If it doesn't and I brick it or whatever, well, I was prepared to buy another phone anyway.

I will add, however, that any blog post that tells me "Don't bother to Google or search for this, because I have uploaded it for you"... well, that sounds quite fishy to me.

Heh, yeah, it's like "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain." I've received the message from Blu support about "no updates available yet," but with a Life XL (nice phone). What Launcher is your Vivo 5 running? The Life XL with Lollipop has Trebuchet, which is from Cyanogenmod (I think), and it's about the only thing I can think of that's not StAndroid (™) in my phone. It also doesn't have NFC or Fingerprint hardware (I can live without both).
