optimus c I bricked my phone today and was trying to fix with various solutions I found here and there all failed ,finally I read about how a person had got to the update menu by holding down volume up and return at the same time with usb plugged in the hitting and holding power button,this caused the updating screen to appear ok cool then I decided to just try the normal LG software updater and it started,the very same I had used to update to 2.2.2 and it started working I was instructed to unplug usb the battery and restart it software downloaded and updated .Phone back to normal .
