Can anyone help with my scrolling zoom issues?

Scrolling zoom issue

I have this really annoying issue while using Chrome, basically just scrolling up and down by swiping on the screen will make it zoom into the page on the browser. I'm not sure whether it's a Chrome setting or an Android setting but I have magnification turned off. Any suggestions?

I'm having similar issues with a Droid 4, in both Chrome and in Documents To Go. I scroll, and it just decides to zoom, for no obvious reason. Help?

ETA: Aha! Further googling found an answer. At least in my case, it was due to using the phone while the charger was plugged in.

Welcome to Android Central! Could it be that you're swiping with too light a touch? The screen might be sensing some of those swipes as double taps, which makes it zoom.

Alternatively, if you double-tap on the browser screen, then keep your thumb on the screen, swiping down will act as a one-handed zoom in, while swiping up will act as a one-handed zoom out.
