Cannot change Notification tone for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6

Thanks for this thread. I can't believe how unnecessarily complicated this was. Now I'm back to adjusting all of my notifications so I can tell from the sound what's what.

I agree way too many steps to do a simple thing

This is Samsung Messages app. People are asking about Google Messages and I am not seeing the option either.

Settings / Notifications / Advance settings/ turn on last option
