Cant watch streamed mp4 from dropbox

I put a few mp4 home movies in my public folder of dropbox. I sent a link to myself and to my wifes iphone. Her phone streams the movies perfectly, however I cannot watch the movies. I keep getting a video cannot be played error. I know the phone supports mp4 as I watch movies stored on my sd card in mp4 format. Any ideas?

Since your wife can watch the video on her iphone I assume its not an issue of the file not having the streaming flag enabled.

Are you going to dropbox via your mobile browser or the dropbox app. If your using the app I would suggest trying the browser, it should work.

Another option is to use Picasa instead of dropbox.
