... so, when it shows up, do I just switch my sim card into the Captivate and go? I've got the unlimited data plan and everything already.
 
I just ordered one as well. I know the price is a mistake but I am assuming they will have to honor it for us. I did overnight as well just so they would expedite this and give me the deal.

I decided to do the same thing. Amazing price to be off contract. I told my wife if I decide I don't like the phone, I could sell it in a month and probably make $150. Hell, I almost bought 2 just to sell one later!

Considering the T-Mobile variant is $599 on the site I'm going to assume this is a major mistake on their part... ;)

Hmm.. I don't think I'll be able to get in on it. I'm already in a family plan and have a SIM card (no internet activated on it yet), so the "upgrade" price in that situation is $200.

I could buy the no contract phone, but I don't see the point in that, as I'll still end up paying monthly charges for voice and data anyways. I'm definitely keeping this site in mind for future purchases though.
 
Check your status if you ordered from Walmart guys... mine says "customer attention is needed".

I doubt this is normal.

It would be nice if it told us what additional information they need...

Customer service line opens in 2 minutes. I will be calling but this can't be good. People over at XDA are reporting the same message on their orders.
 
they are probably on the bat phone waking up their pricing department division head to fix it NOW.
 
For some reason I don't think these orders are going to go through... the person I spoke to seemed clueless and then put me on hold only for me to be disconnected...
 
Here's my info:

-placed order at 9:30 am sunday
-no email confirmation
-called walmart right at 11am
-Walmart said they have the order, but I must call them Monday to supply more info/confirm the order.

Very Very weird....................................
 
ok got through... dude on the phone says it has to go with the verification process, and that department is not open on Sundays. So, he says, sometime Monday I will get a call to verify who I am and my address and all that before they ship the phone out. Otherwise, everything looks good to go.

Or, I can call customer service during their normal business hours on Monday to verify the order instead of waiting for them to call me.

Either way, I was assured the order is in the system and is just awaiting verification. They don't just ship out cell phones ordered online without making sure you are the correct person who ordered the phone.

Guess this is just a drawback of trying to do business on a Sunday... :p
