Cases for the S6 active

I'm in the camp that feels this phone does not need a case. However, I might pick up a "belt clip" holster for those times I do not want to use a pocket. Has anyone found one of these that the Active fits well?

Still hoping to find one! I like to use them to go running, etc.

Yes, I'm curious why you'd require a case with this phone. Isn't it already contained within a shock "proof" case?

Well many resell their old devices, sure the phone is rugged, but the edges and back may chip or worse with a bad drop. With a case the phone itself stays perfect for best resell value.

Supcase beetle premium hybrid. Black with frosted back.
The case doesn't have a rubber feel. It is more of a harder plastic feeling. The sides, where the buttons are, especially the volume side, is not that tight fitting up against the phone. If the phone case would be made a little tighter this would be great.

Disappointing to hear about the not so tight fit but the pics have sold me! Thanks for sharing.

I got my $7 cimo case in today. I ordered the clear one but it isn't clear. More of a milky white color. It has more of a sticky feeling that the supcase i had on prior. I figured for $7 I would give it a try, but I think I like the supcase better. I have on order the i-blason case that is very similar to my supcase but with a supposedly crystal clear back instead of frosted.

I have not been a "pocket" guy since phones started getting pretty big, so I settled a few phones ago on cases with matching belt clip holders. (for my last 3 phones) I feel that the ACTIVE is a great size and does not need a case for my normal activities, but I still wanted a belt clip. I looked at several leather pouch type belt clip options but none were easy to remove the phone with one hand.

At Best Buy yesterday I finally tried the Platinum (PT) brand case/belt clip designed for the normal S6. This is the same brand case/clip I used with my S3 and LG-G3. I believe they are made by Seidio as they look identical. With out the case, my ACTIVE fits perfectly in the belt clip. Now I feel that I have the best of both worlds... a rugged phone that does not need a case and a good belt clip to keep it out of my pocket. Unfortunately I now have a case I do not need. But my wife loves that shade of blue, so she might just upgrade to an S6 and use it!

Please do not read this the wrong way. But how does the Active fit in the same space as the reg S6 or Edge version? Would think the length & thickness difference would be too much?

I bought a E LV off of Amazon with a belt/pocket clip. While it fits fine, it is big & bulky. Additionally you cannot separate the phone from the clip without using both hands. So am hating it.

The Active is indeed larger than the S6. But in the Platinum "case/belt clip" series, the clip is designed to hold the phone inside a case, making the phone larger. The S6 inside the Platinum case is nearly identical in size to the Active WITHOUT a case. So the belt clip holster for the S6 will hold either the S6 in the case that it comes with OR the Active without a case. I AM NOT using the case that came with the belt clip holster.

Completely agree, but really only the edges need protection, which is why I'm gonna try out the Case-Mate Tough Frame Black Bumper from AT&T's website. It's still a bit too heavy duty for my taste, so I hope more case manufacturers realize that this phone really only needs protection against cosmetic damages (aside from the screen, of course) and make more minimalist designs.
