holy cow! lol i remember when a bad esn ran a $20 price tag. damned metro and crycket.

Actually, yes it is. I installed the F14 version after requesting the new "nfs web app" be allowed to be installed on F14.

That is epic! I moved to WHS because I was impatient and greyhole didn't work out for me that well. Anywho, I still have the machine in my closet. Good luck to you and thanks for all of your dedication to this phone. (btw if you can get OpenVPN to work with the Optimus with the Amahi VPN gimme a PM :P )

Ouch, that hurts.

Yep, I managed to get Ubuntu running after 6 tries. Now attempting to win a couple of 160GB HDs on eBay to put in a RAID0 and then RMA my 750GB WD Black.

Well, work on this got slowed down some since my desktop's HD crashed :(

I may be able to do data recovery for you if you want, it of course is 50/50 chance if anything that can be salvaged but worth a shot.
Send me a message and I will go over stuff with you if you are interested.

I just have to do a repo sync on the source again, so not to bad.

Before flashing CWM0.5 I had Thunderc recovery on my Optimus S. Today while trying to flash an AOSP ROM I get the following error msg:

assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "thunderc" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "thunderc" || getprop("ro.product.board") == "thunderc"

E:Error in /sdcard/aospCMod-OV-20110427-signed.zip

Installation aborted.

Any ideas what's happening here?

Thanks :)
