cm7 ruuning great, update nook to 1.4...whoops..help

I updated my CM7 nook, which has been running for months, to v 1.4

Now upon boot, it just spins on the Cyanogen blue screen spinnning...

What is the fix for this?

I have a nook tablet but haven't flashed it yet. (It's my kids).
But I did read that 1.4 update causes problems and you have to revert back to the older version and then reflash the rom.
