Optimus S is different from the V, that's for sure. I believe they just have the same board?

according to tdm, the only difference is the home and menu buttons. but i think they also have an fm radio built in?

The only hardware difference is the buttons, yes. But there are a couple software differences. The build props and mms config come to mind.

mms is about the only thing thats not easy to fix between the two. unless some tries using a S rom that is built for a radio other than ZVD.

Here the bluetooth fix from alpha14. It should work on alpha11D. Thanks to androidmeda, simple permission fix.

Kraven I saw you released alpha15d for LS is that going to work on VM? Can you install it and use the 11D key fix?

Thanks for the great effort.

Which recovery did you guys use to flash 15d? I tried Jerry's green and drews cannibal but both aborted the installation

Does this ROM require any additional steps besides installing it? If so, what are they?

You need to flash gapps after flashing the rom. And if you're flashing it on the V, the home and menu keys will be switched unless someone makes a keypad fix for alpha 15.

Thekraven has posted one for alpha15d on the cai thread in the s forums

I posted on the LS. I am waiting for feedback all the recoveries that I have do not work, same issue as you described.

Here this will fix all your issues with flashing with ANY recovery.
In the rom go to /meta-inf/com/google/android/updater-script open it with notepad and delete everything before the first semi-colon and also the first semicolon. After that save and repackage into rom.....if using winrar/7zip a prompt will ask if you want to update the zip, press yes, if using windows explorer to open the zip, go get 7zip or winrar....
