Colours look dull and washed out compared to my S22 Ultra...

There's a few people on reddit confirming from support that it's a known issue and will be addressed in one of the first updates. Also a Samsung worker claiming the same.
Other thing I'm not happy is they removed the navigation swipe up gestures the 23U had so I'm back using the buttons from the 2010s lol any idea how I can get that back?

I don't think you can. I was using them too :/. I've switched back to the buttons and used GoodLock's Navbar to make them smaller, and even added a fourth button for play/pause control.

This is really what upsets me most, the gestures. They were the best on my last phone and now I hate them. I kept the buttons to set up the phone because I just couldn't get through it easily, but now I'm better at the gestures. I'm not going backwards with the buttons. Hopefully Good Lock can address this soon.

I can confirm on my 24+ the colors are muted and the black isn't as electric. I had a 23+.

Gestures are really bad. They really shouldn't even be an option after what we've had before. Are we ever going to be able to save themes in theme park and transfer them over?

How are you guys seeing the gestures now? @mustang7757 are they now like the Pixel ?
I think they were similar when I was messing with the phone at BB

I get a new phone every year and this is the 1st time I'm actually considering sending this thing back and just keeping the 23U I'm sure the nav will change on that to match this but how do you mess the screen up this bad it's Samsung that's literally what they do!

There's always been Google/Android gestures on Samsung, they just also had their own weird stopgap gestures. The stopgap ones are the ones that were gotten rid of, as well as the ability to turn off the little pill at the bottom of the screen while using Google gestures.

I think the reason so many people were using Samsungs stopgap gestures is that they are VERY intuitive if you're used to buttons. Googles gestures are as unintuitive as anything gets, but once you learn them they are much better, especially for one handed use. , ,

Samsung version is eliminated , you have Google and buttons only with a persistent bar at the bottom :(
Didn't even know that since been using the Google version on all my phones. I don't even know what was the difference

Personally, never had a problem with Google gestures from the time it was introduced several years ago.

Samsung version wasn't bad , you could swipe up with 3 gestures at the bottom with gesture hints in location buttons would be or turn off the gesture hints if you remembered the gestures lol

fuzzylumpkin bhatech mustang7757 thank you fellas for replies …got it and yes that is what I’ve been using for the longest..showing the pill on the bottom is also what I know too which makes sense since Google will also have the circle feature starting Jan 31

Same here. I use Google's version of gestures on all my phones and had forgotten that Samsung also had its own version. I still have the S23U and tried the Samsung gestures. It's like having invisible navigation buttons that are activated with a swipe up instead of a press. I prefer Google's implementation but that's probably because it's just what I'm used to. I'm sure I could quickly get used to the Samsung gestures although I think I'd miss being able to go back with a swipe from either side edge of the screen. But I think Samsung should've left the option for those who prefer it. Maybe Good Lock will come to the rescue.

I agree they should of left Samsung gestures, I do use Googles version but that was not the case when Google first introduced it they were horrible with that pill style lol
