After thinking about it for quite some time, I have decided to stay with the Motorola Droid and pass on the Nexus. What kept bugging me is that if you put both phones side by side, there really is no difference other then the physical look. The Motorola has been out for awhile and we know what to expect. The Nexus with Verizon has not yet been blessed by anyone in this forum or any other forum. In other words, no one knows how it will hold up against the Motorola when it comes to call quality and volume just to name a few. So what I did after selling my Motorola the other day, I went back to the store and bought another one. Two days without my Motorola was horrible! Serious wthdrawels. You guys test the Nexus out for me. I will work on my golf game and enjoy my Motorola for what it is....a great device, not perfect, but certainly great. I have spent too many years waiting for the next best device to come out and never enjoying what I already had. Example is the Storm 1 and Storm 2. Yeah, the Storm 1 had it's problems at first but when the latest software came out, I really enjoyed it. Taking away from further enjoyment was waiting for the Storm 2 to come out and being disappointed like no one's business! Seriously, had the Androids not come out, I would be back on a Storm 1 no problem at all and enjoying life.
Good luck with the Nexus my friends, hope it works out for you. My golf game is calling me, my Motorola Droid is my partner in communication and for the first time in many years, I feel good about pulling in the reigns and enjoying my Motorola droid moment.
