I've been a developer for a long time. I've recently started doing Android development and this would be a great addition to my reading collection.

I'd love to win! I downloaded the SDK awhile ago and have been wanting to learn android development! This book looks great!

This is a book that I would love to get my hands on. I've itching to learn and teach myself some developing.

Been working my way through the online materials for dev-ing for Android, so a book that I can actually carry around would be amazing. :P

Definitely interested!

If, on the off chance I don't win :p, anyone know where I can find an ebook copy DRM free? I would love to carry it around in, say, aldiko. Just bought a book off barnes and noble, and the nook app isn't even opening it, so I'm not very skittish about DRM'd ebooks.

This would be awesome! I recently started delving into Android Development (search the market for "SchreinerDev" to see my first foray into this area). This book would really help get more information about developing (the right way) on Android :D

Hello Android

I desperately need this book. I've not gotten much further than the title of my post!

Oh, picked randomly? I guess no witty witticism will help me win. Who wanted to read anyway. :(

I have been designing the UI for an app for over a year now. I got approved for app inventor as I am not a huge coder, but it does not seem to have the power my application desires. Therefore, I guess I better learn as much about Android Development as possible....this would be a blessing to recieve. Thank you AC!

From Palm to Android

I am a "loyal" almost ex-Palm user... My name is Otavio, I live in Brazil and my first smartphone was a Treo (I had Palms and Handsprings organizers before that).

I started programming centuries ago on an Apple II-G and IBM PCs. I have started to develop some "follow up" application to WebOS last year, but now I am much more interested on the Android platform, since I purchased my first Motorola Milestone (Droid).

On the road of porting the app to Android, I guess this book would be a very good "friend" of mine.

Thanks, Regards to everyone here, Otavio Costa.

I've been fiddling around a bit with android development but have not really gotten as far as I'd liked yet, this book would hopefully be a great help to find the motivation to start developing seriously. Cheers!

Would be nice to get this book probably motivate me even more to look into developing on Android
