Cyanogenmod 6 Test 4 HeroC

Here's the developers page for more information: Battery Tweak V3 BETA 6 (unreleased)

In short, yes. The tweak makes changes to the phone to maximize performance and safety according to the Dev. I have not experienced a decrease in the phones over-all performance (lag, reboots, etc.).

I've installed the battery tweak this afternoon. We'll see how it goes. I'm not sure what the default CPU speed is for CM6 but it seems to be running faster with the 691 hZ setting with the battery tweak.

Have you played around with the 768 MHz setting, and if so have you noticed any difference in battery performance? I've read somethings that seem to indicate CM6 may prefer the 768 setting.

No, havn't clocked it to 768. I've tried to stay away from that speed because I was having problems with the phone rebooting itself on 2.1 ROMs. I will kick it up a knotch and post some results tomorrow when I put it through its paces.

Finally adjusted the settings for the Colin batt tweak to increase the CPU speed to 768. No problems whatsoever and will light use, easily reached 15 hours yesterday with 45% battery life left. By light use I mean facebook sync every 1/2 hour, three twitter clients sync between 10-60 minutes (I have since turned them off) and some web browsing.

Really happy with it set to ondemand and everything set to 768 max and 691 min, with the exception of the usb charging to 480000.

See I wonder if there is something else going on with my phone, because I seem to only be able to get round 5-6 hours before the battery is at 50% power. I do tend to listen to my podcasts through doggcatcher with the screen turned off for a couple of hours a day, but that didn't seem to drain the battery as much as it does with CM6.
