Dashclock message notifications not working

So I installed Apex launcher and absolutely love it. I then downloaded dashclock and various extensions including the sms extension. I set everything up right but my text notifications arent showing up even when I drag down the widget.

having similar problems with Nova launcher, couldn't get Dashclock to replace the stock clock on the lock screen...finally gave up.

you need the pro version for notifications to work and show up on dash clock, if you dont have it

Apex has somehow stopped the stock notifications from showing up which is awesome. When i tried Nova it still pushed through for some reason. Now I just have no notificqtions for texts showing up lol.. I wish I could figure out..

I do have the pro version of apex downloaded, so I have the badges when I get a text, just nothing on the dashclock widget
