Is there anything I can do to modify that?

Easily? No. Technically? Yes.

Dev instructions:

1) Download your kernel source from LG
2) Compile
3) unpack CM7 boot.img
4) repack with your zImage
5) manually install your wireless.ko to /system/lib/modules/

I am still learning here. But what is the pros/cons to having dithering enabled or disabled?

does it matter if you have v9 or vc radio to use this?

I don't believe it matters. I tested both, and develop on VC, but I did not see any issues with V9, though I did not 100% test.\

Not sure. I just leave it at default. After all CM7 is not Sprint stock, it is pre-optimized for performance, not their needs.

I understand it won't be easy. I'd say I'm pretty well versed on computers, including some *nix compiling while I'm in the lab at university, but can I beg a little more detail/sources? I've got the kernel source downloading as I speak

Well good news. I unplugged my airave and gps locked in a matter of seconds! I know that thing has weird effect sometimes!

Now my wife can enjoy some Gingerbread, even though she has no idea what that means. lol

LOL, That's odd, I guess it interfered in some way, glad you figured it out!

Surface Dithering is a screen enhancement, makes images look sharper. It takes away some performance, though not enough to notice. Uncheck it then reboot and you should be able to see the difference. My LCD is messed up, has lines running through it and some color banding. But with CM7 and the Surface Dithering enabled it looks way better! I am still getting a replacement phone though, due to the screen :)

Hmm. I am going to leave mine unchecked for now and see if there are any issues. I actually notice no difference in clarity or anything else so far. Everything is very crisp and clean. Even if the performance sacrifice is minimal with it on, I like the idea of better performance. Probably just a mental thing. LOL.

I hear ya, OCD. lol

So when I receive a call, my phone only rings once but continues to vibrate as normal. Anyway to change this, cant seem to find it.

Edit: Ok I think I figured it out. Some of the installed ringtones don't loop themselves. So I set it on one that seemed to loop while previewing. Don't have another phone in the house to call it though to test. LOL

The wife had a random reboot today while she was playing with the phone. Didn't change the clock speed or anything so it is running stock......Anyone else have any reboot issues?

I had overclocked mine too much and was having that problem, but I lowered it to 806 and its fine now.

I'm pretty much set with CM7, having come from ThundeROM 1.6, but I'm having an odd problem... I'm trying to use Type Fresh to replace my fonts, but whereas on ThundeROM it went off without a hitch, I get bootlooped on CM7.
The first time I tried replacing fonts, it was unable to remount /system until I tried it three or four times. After that, and on all three subsequent tries, it seemed to replace them just fine, but when it tries to reboot, it gives an error that it couldn't reboot and that I should reboot as soon as I can, then the "Rebooting..." spinner appears and doesn't do anything (I left it spinning for as long as 10 minutes with no effect). I ended up manually rebooting, and when I did so, it came to the LG screens (greyscale one, then the colorized one), then froze entirely. I was able to get into recovery (Xionia CWMA), wipe /system, and reflash the nightly/GApps with no further trouble.
The first time I tried the process, I shut down from the hold-power-button menu, then turned the phone back on. The second time, I used the Reboot option from the same menu. The third time, I tried rebooting using the reboot command in Terminal Emulator.

I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this... Also, are there any alternate themes for the Theme Chooser available yet, or will that have to wait?

You must un-check then reboot to notice difference. And if its enabled by default it may re-enable itself at boot, so in others words you cant turn it off. Any time you check or un-check anything in performance (beside CPU) it requires a reboot to take effect. But yeah I hear ya on the mental thing, LOL. I am the same way, but I have always used surface dithering, even when I had the Hero. And god knows we needed all the performance we could get for that phone!

There seems to be a problem with the Audio. When I plug it into my home stereo or car there is no bass at all. But there is no problem at all when I nan.dr.oid back to Lego ROM

Ya I did reboot after unchecking. And it stayed unchecked after boot. But still everything is clean and smooth. Running launcher pro and it runs great. Ill have to switch to the stock launcher and see if there is a difference. Can't wait for the next release.

The rom is currently Odex, so that wont work. If and when we get a RC it will more than likely be DeOdex, then Type Fresh will work. As far as themes there are some on the market, search CM7 theme.
