No go on GPS with the latest build. If you go to put an address in maps it just hangs there searching........

ok i started from scratch and flashed the latest build this time, gps now works on Google Maps but fails in Navigation. Another thing is that my speaker phone isnt as loud as it use to be, like it sounds like its being auto balanced. Also my Weather & Toggle flip clock cant find my location... Any idea whats wrong here??? Other than those kinks this is a pretty solid rom and am happy to finally ge to use cyanogen :D

GPS is fine, works for all applications you mentioned for me. Takes a little while for navigation I seen it wait for about 4 valid satellite readings to come through before it decided to act on screen. Nothing I can do about that.

Audio issue is known and will be looked into. :)

Can you download weather bug and see if you can get a lock?

A lock isn't gonna change between apps you can open a logcat and see it functioning. But anyway yes it worked in Weatherbug. It looks like it takes a while because it samples a few readings then compares them. I have noticed the GPS takes longer but seems more accurate.

sorry, tried entering on issues site, but hard on phone. on 18, I could only hear people using speakerphone. anyone else?

edit: issue resolved

Ok I wiped data/cache and dalvek.
Flashed the debug formatsystem.
Flashed the latest 18 NIGHTLY.
Flashed Gapps.

And it worked great was able to register google account and all was well for about 5 minutes. Then phone just started to reboot and when it got to the lock screen would reboot again after about 10 seconds. Over and over etc....

Any Ideas?

Restored my Nandroid back to ThundeRom 1.6.2 and all is well again, but I really want to give this one a shot.

Don't overclock so far.
I have ran my phone on gb for 24 hours straight (longest I have gone without flashing a new test build >.>)

Does this ROM address the superimposing of screens when on a phone call?
Also, what about apps2SD? Do we use the recovery to make partitions?

anyone tried using SIP calling? i'm running this build on a optimus V so i don't know if it's just me...but i get no audio in or out. can't hear the caller and the caller can't hear me. same settings work great in sipdroid. built in SIP was one of the biggest GB features i've been waiting for.

very hot

both square up and team viewer work great now too. thought i was just going to test this out but i guess ill run with it for a bit.

@dbeckwit...i had that too on 16...never found much on it but going into phone settings and checking always use proximity sensor seemed to fix it for me...may be related to the proximity issues. :shrug

On my EVO and CM7, you needed to do a ## code on a stock rom in order to get gps working on the CM7 Rom. The code reset the gps and that is the only way to get working gps on the EVO and CM7.

Is there anything like that for the Optimus? I had my wifes phone by window for 10 minutes and it wouldn't lock. Just keeps flashing. I am going to try and test it when we go out and maybe it has something to do with my location, although I have never head a problem get gps signal in my house.

Great rom and thanks for the work, but if I cannot get GPS working, will need to downgrade her to a Froyo Rom which I really don't want to do....Hopefully I can get GPS to work.
