Hold the power key down until you see power off options. Turn Airport mode on/off and then see if that makes a difference.

Using the current nightly is anyone else having tethering issues? I keep getting an error with I try to turn in on.

Edit: messing with OCing and I can run my phone @ 864MHz, it quadrant benchmarked at 1164! I do believe that Zefie is my hero.

I felt the same way when I first started this adventure. Just follow the steps on the first page exactly and you should be OK.

And if it doesn't work the first time, try it again. (It took me a few tries to get this one going, but but it's worth it!)

Alright zefie, I just spent some time looking around with that audiofilter.csv file. Long story short, it's confusing as all hell. So the DSP manager is the best option for now, until I figure this out (or somebody else does). But I've got an exam I really should be studying for tomorrow night..

Till then..

If anyone else is having GPS issues in the Navigation app, go here to comment on the Issue that I opened in the bug tracking site:

Issue 43 - optimus-s-cyanogenmod - GPS in Navigation App: not working - Project Hosting on Google Code

So far I have been the only one to comment on the bug, so the more that voice that they're having a problem, the more likely it is to get resolved.

Flashed Rom. when boots up it gets stuck on the boot animation. I flashed same Rom on my other device and it's flawless

I flashed over from the nightly form the 16th tot he 20th today and my battery chewed through to nothing in no time ( like 5 hours). no difference in use ( basically I did not make any calls or use the data). anyone else notice anything in this build?

Same thing here with the 20th build. Flashed over the 18th build. Battery got chewed up with no use. Checked wakelock and no issues there.

Going to see what happens today.....

No need to go back to stock
Awesome Rom, few minor bugs but nothing that really hinders use.
Zefie and the rest have done a great job working on this and will iron out all the kinks in due time, I'm sure.

I'm no expert but this is what I did from ThundeRom:

1. Put the following on sd card: Test Build 02202011, Debug-FormatSYSTEM.zip, Google Apps. (All three links on first page)

2. Go to Recovery (I use Quickboot from the market to get to recovery)
Make Nandroid backup

3. Wipe: Data, then Cache, then Dalvik cache

4. Flash Debug-FormatSYSTEM.zip

5. Flash the Test Build (update-cm-7-02202011-NIGHTLY-thunderc-Xionia-signed.zip)

6. Flash Google Apps (gapps-gb-20110120-signed.zip)

7. Reboot system

It will take a little longer to boot up (a couple minutes or so). When it asks you to log into your Google account, press skip. Open up Market and then enter your login info to get your contacts back.

Have Fun :)

just put this on my phone and i am not connecting to 3G, it is only giving me 1x. I updated my Radio to VC before applying CM7 to my phone. i followed the directions and wiped out user data and cache data before applying, i have also re cleared the cache, but it is still only giving me 1x. any advice?

So I slolved this by restoring to my Factory Tom and letting it reprovision then restoring back to cm7. Invade any one else had this issue.

I did a clean wipe on all flashes builds 16 to 20 except 17. Everything works great expect the GPS, as in my weather channel crashes when finding my location, my weather & toggle widget can't find my location and neither can my Navigation. GPS works just ok because it doesn't update my location as much as stock did or thunderom. One more thing I don't know if its revelent or not, I don't see the satellite icon since I started using cm7 when using GPS to find my location. Hope that means something to someone and can find a solution

Click your volume up a notch or two. Volume will cut out completely if you turn it down too low, even if the volume status shows you have a level.

This rom runs great for me! I used to run ThunderRom 1.6.2 and I dont know if I will ever go back, even though 1.7 is built with the VC files? I just have a few questions about this rom if anyone is kind enough to answer them I'd appreciate it =] Is this rom built with the new VC update files? Is there any need to flash with the build props? I saw JIT is enabled but is stagefright or HW accelleration? I am trying to get away from using a launcher as I was using ADW Launcher but the only thing I get from it is I could set swipe up on the screen launches settings, is there anyway I can set a swipe gesture with this mod? I really love it guys keep up the good work...I need to get a donation to ya'll....thanks alot guys...would appreciate any tips - Glitchsta

Cyanogen is built using gingerbread as its source (Android 2.3), so no it does not use VC. Thunderom is a modification of the rom pushed by Sprint (which is Froyo based with some backports from Gingerbread I believe), Cyanogen is a whole different beast. Stagefright and such should be enabled by default as I believe gingerbread cannot run without them, so don't worry about build props. For swipe gestures on the launcher I believe you have to go with a third party.

Hope that answers some of your questions :)

I will submit this as a bug as fast as I can, but when I am in a call and volume down it mutes the incoming audio until I volume up one Time, is anyone else seeing this issue?
