Huh, I never noticed the change in post 1 before updating to 302. I just wiped cache, dalvik, and /system as per usual. Did not wipe data....and it still works fine. Of course, if I run into issues I'll do the wipe before I complain here :-D.

so how do we flash this exactly when we don't want to just update to a newer nightly build but switch to this ROM from something elas?

1. wipe data, cach, and dalvik like you would with any other rom
2. format sd card and move the debug, Gapps and the build.zip to it
3. flash the debug.zip
4. flash the Gapps.zip
5. then finally flash the nightly build itself?

1 flash debug
2 flash rom
3 flash gapps

really that it:)? cuz i read the notes part in the first post and it said to reformate the memory card or is that notes part just for if it doesn't work doing it the first way that was just posted

Make sure you wipe /data and /cache on your first time or new OS updates! :)

ok let me make sure i got this straight flashing this is pretty much the same as any other ROM except after you wipe data, cache, and dalivik you have to flash some extra stuff (the debug, the nightly and then the Gapps)? and you dont have to go through the trouble of reformating your sd card?

Yes thats exactly right...just put what you need on the sd card...reboot to recovery. Wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik...now without rebooting go to flash zips and go:
1. debug
2. rom
3. gapps

All back to back...finally reboot out of recovery...

Open the Messaging app then press menu and select settings. Make sure "Notifications" is unchecked. This keeps from the double notification.

Hey zefie, any chance of 03032011 nightly? I'm experiencing excessive battery drain on 03022011.

Have you tried acromack's thread http://forum.androidcentral.com/lg-optimus-s-rooting-roms-hacks/64258-tweak-improve-battery-life-cm7-scott-pilgrim-awesomeness.html.
I used it on 02252011 nightly and worked like a charm. 7hrs 53mins and was at 92%. Granted it wasn't heavy usage but it was better than before acromak's suggestion. I have since flashed 03022011 but have not had it off of the charger long enough to see if works the same.

Just curious, what is your CPU set at to give you those kinds of numbers?
