I can confirm the issue, with clean screen (ocd about that) and vc. Sometimes it works, sometimes even swyping the sensor doesn't wake the screen back up.

i usually tap the sensor pretty hard then it finally turns back on haha. but yea it only really bothers me when i have to use the keypad. otherwise i just use the power button to end the call

or get in the habit of using the menu key to wake the phone then you don't hang up ;)

Well I have v9 and had issues until i rebooted and no prob since. Just got off my 15th or so call since rebooting.

i'm still on v9 (too lazy to go through the effort of updating it..) and had the proximity issue at first boot, even though the 'always use' option was checked. quick reboot fixed it and haven't seen it since. I've even rebooted again since then.

Also still on v9 while I've had the problem before i synthesis have the issue very offten and haven't noticed a change in frequency. Easy fix set the phone down and do something that doesn't revolve around a phone... it only takes a minuet or two before the screen functions again you east as much or more time restarting the phone every time

Ha - yeah, I hung up on my wife twice yesterday. Coming from ThundeROM, I'm used to the power button turning the screen on and off during a call.

Hello, sorry to disturb, i haven't had the time to read the whole thread (it's pretty damn long), so i have to ask... is this ROM working on Optimus One?

I'm running VC and same thing here. Sometimes if I put it back up to my ear and pull it away 2 or 3 times it'll come back on, otherwise I'm stuck swiping, which doesn't always work either. Just reloaded this yesterday hoping the 0307 build was fixed. Only reason I switched away to another ROM temporarily was because of this since I'm using dialpad a lot. Other than that, ROM works wonderfully. Proximity would be me #1 fix, but beggars can't be choosers. You guys are doing a ridiculously great job pulling this together.

Thanks++++

Just had a hell of a time swapping calls when one came in on call waiting. Had to swipe several times just to get screen back on then kept disappearing when tried to swap calls. Not a lot of fun.

Zefie - I tried hitting the menu button like you mentioned in a previous post (and the rest of them along the bottom) to try to wake the screen while I was in call to get the screen back on but that didn't work either. Is that some sort of functionality that can be built in? I'd be fine with that if that screen would actually stay on long enough to access the buttons.

Yeah, after taking multiple calls I can say with certainty that it happens 100% of the time with me. Home while in the call doesn't work, (unless I swipe the sensor), and neither Home nor Power works after call end. Swiping the sensor is hit-or-miss...takes me 3-5 tries usually, (worse than back on the 215/216/217 builds). "Always Use Proximity" no longer makes any difference that I can tell.

Clean screen, fresh system/data/cache/dalvik wipe then 307 install, VC radio.

idk the latest release was so buggy i got annoyed and went back to my VCRom >.> I think I may be retiring from this.

I dunno, things seem to work fairly smoothly for me. Granted, I'll admit 3 way calling is broken (the 'manage calls' doesn't do anything), so when I accept another incoming call, it goes to it fine, and I have to hang up, then answer the first call again to get back to it. Not too bad, I guess. I suppose I just can't do a typical 3 way call. And the proximity sensor still works fine for me. I wonder if it's a VC thing, as I'm still on V9 baseband..

Anyway, for me, this 03072011 release seems the least buggy out of all of them. If I can be of any help to discover why/how this is the case for me, let me know.

Like I said earlier, this latest release fixed most of my bugs or went a long way towards it. Any problem I had with proximity sensor is now gone - screen turns on and off just as with ThundeROM. Headphone is oh-so-close to being perfect too...much improved from earlier release. I realize others' results may vary, but with this latest release this has become my primary ROM.

I'm on VC, and my proxmity sensor needed to be swiped with my thumb to turn back on the screen during a call in the previous nightly, but this latest release fixed all of that.

Headphone-out seems close enough to perfect to me, but if you still feel it needs more then you could probably fill the gap with dsp manager and just employ the equalizer in there. I'm willing to be it would be able to actually accomplish something now that it's 'close enough' to perfect without it.

Same here, good work but I'm going back to Nrom, to many bugs and I need a somewhat stable phone for school and work. CM7 doesn't seem much faster than nrom either but more stable

Appreciate the effort

I kept reading this thread and read that Swype does not work on this specific ROM.

I was wondering, is it possible for me to download SlideIT Keyboard from the android market as a replacement keyboard(swype) app?

Swype works, just not included. You need to be part of the beta. SlideIT should work fine though.

After some time, I found swype annoying as hell. SlideIT worked awesome for my needs, although I do find myself using the stock gingerbread keyboard more lately.. I've gotten used to it I guess. But yes, SlideIT will work fine for this rom..

Sorry - I mixed up headphone and headset. Headphones worked for me a few releases ago with enough quality for me to be satisfied. Up until the latest release, however, my headset didn't work at all, either to listen to a call or use the mic to talk during the call. Now I can hear just fine using the headset, making participation in boring conference calls where I don't need to talk easy.
