Hey does anyone know how to fix the issue with the power button hanging up phone calls. I have tried MENU>SETTING> ACCESSIBILITY and made sure that the "Power button end calls" was unchecked any suggestions or is this just a bug

I have never even had this happen, but I rarely if ever have any need to hit my power button while I am on the phone.

If it is unchecked, I would say yes it is a bug.

Thank you so very much--after about six hours and reading over a lot of stuff, I now have gingerbread on my phone!

...and most importantly will this work on v9 or vc or both or does it even matter?

Was this question ever answered? I have looked through close to 20 pages of this thread and have not seen an answer yet. Basically what I want to know is what base bands will this work with? I know there is the two listed plus a newer one VD and another one.

Any baseband works. I was on v9 until last week when I finally upped to vd.

Have a quick problem---when I go to shut down my phone at night to charge it--the phone just constantly reboots and never shuts down--even though I tell it to shut down. If the phone is not plugged in charging, then it will stay shut off. But the minute that I plug it into the charger or computer, the phone starts up. Is there something that I'm doing wrong?

the phone always starts up when u plug it in not sure u can change that but once its on the charger u can power it off

I am still working on an update. I have run into quite a few brick walls with zefie's code. He has not answered any of my communications as of yet. So, I have decided to scrap zefie's work and start my own from cyanogen and mik9 sources making the necessary modifications for our phone. I am syncing source right now and will be working diligently to get something completed soon. When it is complete I will post it in a new thread since it will not be based on any of zefie's work.

It will shut down, but then restart right back up. It won't stay off when the charger is plugged in.

Was your battery completely drained when you plugged it in? Mine did that for awhile until it had a sufficient charge to stay on.

Maybe its because I'm still in my twenties but I'm not quite sure why you'd want to turn your phone off, but why not just put it in airplane mode and turn the screen off. Same thing really except start up is a hell of a lot faster. That way its got no contact with the outside world, but its still on standby.
