Thanks zefie. Is that on the to-do list or do I have to use a third party app (like PDANet) for this in the final release?

I dont know what to say, WoW! You do know that this can be submitted to Cyanogen and as long as framework is not modified from standard Cyanogen framework he will pick this up for official CM7, though it still needs the coders/maintainers. Saves you the trouble of having to build every time you push code :)

The only FC I get is using cyanogen to manage CPU, looks like that is fixed next build, awesome!

Not even a build issue, kernel issue. Had to hack in a function that wasn't there. That wasn't fun.

not sure if this would be considered a bug, or is software related but it didn't happen with 2.2

weather wont update in fancy widgets via google, but will with weatherbug.

LOL, I am glad somebody knows what they are doing! I was lost with my port, seriously :) I submitted a few things/bugs, but it doesnt give me the option to rate them, they are LOW and showing up as Medium. One is a Enhancement but is coming up as Defect :(

I think its something with CM7 & Google weather. I have Beautiful Widgets and I can't use geolocation w/ Google.

Have people reported the screen brightness bug yet?

Odd issue I'm having... I can't control the backlight in the latest build. I can change the brightness all I want, either through widgets or through the system settings, but it doesn't do anything.

Please visit the Google Code Issue tracker and file an issue.

so 20100215 is the latest released but 20100216 is in the works with working MMS? (just clarifying)

Yeah, zefie likes to tell us what's coming soon, as well as what's out. (It's real nice to know what's on the horizon, and it makes us all anxious!!!). 216 will release tonight, methinks.

I'm getting the little tape icon and dial *86 even though I don't have a new mcsausage from anyone.

Does anyone know what the number to use for sprint is to replace *86 with

I noticed that too. You can go to Settings->Call settings->Voicemail settings->Voicemail number and change it to your cell number.

But the message still pops up sometimes. And the Sprint VVM apk from here won't receive messages ever, but that makes no difference to me as I use Google Voice to manage voicemail (which works flawlessly).

This may be a dumb question, I didnt see it in OP, may have overlooked it elsewhere though.

Does the this rom and or kernel have the new drivers that need the newer baseband, or are drivers unrelated to baseband? I have a delima here, my LCD is not as clear on my replacement phone as it was on the one that bricked. Sometimes you can plainly see the LDC come into focus, sometimes the focus isnt all that great and you will see lines running left to right, they are not out of color. The lines are correct with the picture and not noticeable unless you look for them. Anyway, the delima is this phone will OC to 864 stable! If I keep it I have the lines and OC to 864 (no need though). If I return I could get a better LCD but lose OC @ 864, perhaps only to 768

Here is how this relates to this thread. I am obviously going to run this as my daily driver. Would going through that VC junk to get the new baseband help the LCD, as there are new drivers? I never knew a radio to have any control of the GPU, perhaps I am wrong and it does? Oh, it does this on Lego and ThundeRom as well...

Thanks

Look at screeny, see the black area on right, the lines going up and down. shouldnt look like that :(

I ran it on the V9 baseband then slightly (ok majorly) messed up when I went to upgrade to the VC baseband (did the OTA and not the other method).

Looks like normal dithering to me. The lcd can only handle 65535 simutaneous colors, so it dithers.

BUT, there is a 3d issue because quadrant dies, so who knows

First of all, major props to everyone involved in this!

I'm currently running ThundeROM 1.6.2 with the original Thunderc custom recovery, and I haven't updated to VC or any of that.

Would I be able to wipe data and flash this, or do I have to switch to Clockwork recovery/upgrade the radio/anything else?
