Can someone running this tell me if this has USB tethering integrated in it? Does WiFi tethering work directly from the menus without any other addon apps/widget?
Thanks!![]()
I dont know what to say, WoW! You do know that this can be submitted to Cyanogen and as long as framework is not modified from standard Cyanogen framework he will pick this up for official CM7, though it still needs the coders/maintainers. Saves you the trouble of having to build every time you push code
The only FC I get is using cyanogen to manage CPU, looks like that is fixed next build, awesome!
Not even a build issue, kernel issue. Had to hack in a function that wasn't there. That wasn't fun.
not sure if this would be considered a bug, or is software related but it didn't happen with 2.2
weather wont update in fancy widgets via google, but will with weatherbug.
wow this is fantastic just a request can you make it compatible with the Optimus V as well?
Odd issue I'm having... I can't control the backlight in the latest build. I can change the brightness all I want, either through widgets or through the system settings, but it doesn't do anything.
so 20100215 is the latest released but 20100216 is in the works with working MMS? (just clarifying)
I'm getting the little tape icon and dial *86 even though I don't have a new mcsausage from anyone.
Does anyone know what the number to use for sprint is to replace *86 with
This may be a dumb question, I didnt see it in OP, may have overlooked it elsewhere though.
Does the this rom and or kernel have the new drivers that need the newer baseband, or are drivers unrelated to baseband? I have a delima here, my LCD is not as clear on my replacement phone as it was on the one that bricked. Sometimes you can plainly see the LDC come into focus, sometimes the focus isnt all that great and you will see lines running left to right, they are not out of color. The lines are correct with the picture and not noticeable unless you look for them. Anyway, the delima is this phone will OC to 864 stable! If I keep it I have the lines and OC to 864 (no need though). If I return I could get a better LCD but lose OC @ 864, perhaps only to 768
Here is how this relates to this thread. I am obviously going to run this as my daily driver. Would going through that VC junk to get the new baseband help the LCD, as there are new drivers? I never knew a radio to have any control of the GPU, perhaps I am wrong and it does? Oh, it does this on Lego and ThundeRom as well...
Thanks
Look at screeny, see the black area on right, the lines going up and down. shouldnt look like that![]()
