I have that issue periodically with my nook, but never on the Optimus running the nightlies.

@simon I made the change also and called my voice mail and it is working everytime now. Whether the build.prop is placebo or not...something is changing...

@zefie I've thanked you a few times, but I just wanted to say YOU'RE AWESOME! I've been following this thread since the beginning, I guess you can call me a lurker, but the truth is this is my first android and I've just been trying to absorb and learn the new OS. Keep up the great work and just know there are those of us who appreciate your work immensely! I'm sorry I don't have $$ to be able to donate to you, I'm looking for employment right now, but when I do, I will buy you a case of your favorite beverage!

Flashed the latest build without wiping and it works great, only problem I have is the gmail app does not automatically refresh I have to do it myself, does anyone know how to, fix that thanks

Sent from my rooted LG Optimus S running CM7

It used to work for me, maybe 2 builds ago, maybe i need to wipe all and start fresh

That might be a good idea. I haven't had any problems with email not auto-syncing...
Then again, I try to completely wipe data/cache/dalvik every couple of builds. Makes me feel like there is less crap that might get left behind.

Zefie I think I figures it out you go to settings then accounts click on your gmail email address tgen check thr box next to gmail, for some reason it was not checked to sync with gmail app it is now and I should be good to go...you gotta start using this rom it is so badass!

ah, yep. Reason its not checked on its own, is because when you sign in to your google account, gmail isn't installed yet.

just wondering why you took performance cpu setting off that was my favorite one.

thx this has to be the smoothest fastest version yet thx alot

Performance is pretty bad at sucking battery life. It keeps the CPU at max clock speed the entire time, never scaling it down. It's akin to putting a brick on the accelerator pedal of your car and just shifting into neutral when you come to a stop light.

My software version is LS670ZVD, I am currently running Thunderrom 1.8 on Xionia recovery.
Can I install this ROM without doing anything special?

How to Install
Most custom recovery (if not all, including mine) have a bug with the CM7 nighty's that does not properly wipe /system.
This can leave leftover files that we had removed, which can cause trouble with the new files.
THEREFORE please use the following method to flash each new NIGHTLY:
1) Flash Debug-FormatSYSTEM.zip
2) Then flash the currently NIGHTLY
3) Then flash Google Apps
4) reboot

If you have trouble after that, reboot and wipe data/cache.

Notes: This was only tested using Xionia CWMA.
1) Make Nandroid Backup
2) Wipe data/cache (NOT OPTIONAL IF COMING FROM 2.2.1 (stock, nROM, VCRom, ThundeROM, ect) or 2.3.2 (CM7 older than 03022011))
3) Goto "mounts and storage", choose "format system" (Xionia CWMA only, otherwise use zip above) (ALSO NOT OPTIONAL)
3) Install zip provided
4) Reboot and enjoy beta gingerbread.

so what are your setting. i am using interactive min320 and max 768

I'm running mine interactive @844 min 245 and i'm not having any problems. Then again i dont have alot of apps on my phone either.

Awesome!! This is the first build that I have been able to install and run successfully.
I can comfirm that the 3/17 build works with the new display hardware.
So far so good. seems really snappy.

I haven't done a whole lot of testing yet, but every thing seems to be working.
The only strange thing was the voice command button wasn't working...no big deal, I just remapped the keys. I was going to do that any ways. I like the front search button to act as a power button. then I remapped the vioce command button as the search button
