Go back one page read my post,I made it so all the zips get replaced with zips that are good and updated.

deleted cache and bounced the phone after flash.

manual attempt to update came back "phone is up to date".

Sorry, I guess I don't understand. I flashed the OTA zip...went fine. Update hasn't came back, but I liked how my phone performed with the deluxe build.prop. I suppose there are bigger issues right now though.

It's okay let me explain better. You flash the zip i attached on that post it's going to replace your current build.prop with the default one that comes with the rom with a couple edits to block ota. I updated the zips that get pushed to the sdcard with the same edits,so you can flash the deluxe build.prop if that's what you want and it will have no bad side effects. It will block ota from poping up too.

Orb Live with ThundeRom?

Anyone have OrbLive working with ThundeRom?
OrbLive worked great when I was stock, but since flashing with ThundeRom the video streaming portion no longer works.
Access to audio files / pictures on my pc thru orblive - no problem.
Uninstalled/reinstalled Orb and tried some of the different buildprops as well.
Still no video streaming!
Anyone have a solution?

Great, thanks for the explanation. I appreciate you breaking it down for me. Now, from reading your other post, am I understanding correctly that our phones will stop working correctly if we don?t get this update from Sprint?

Your phone will continue to work just fine as it is right now. The problem would come if you updated to a VC rom without updating the radio. We are checking somethings and trying to figure the best way to go about doing everything.

It worked, but only after uninstalling/reinstalling Orblive.

If your not rooted or running cutom roms then run the update. There is no reason not to run the update if your stock. If your rooted but just not running a rom or recovery, not to be rude but this isnt the right thread, which is dedicated to thunderom. Rooting adding recovery and flashing the phone doesnt take skill so one cant "suck at it", the instructions are pretty clear cut and dry. If its for you then do it otherwise z4root for your root needs and deal with the annoyances.

I need one person to download the attached zip and flash it. It will replace you build.prop,all the build.prop's on sd,and rename the ota security check so that it cant install even if it sneaks back in.

One person please post saying "testing" then come back and say if it flashed without issue.Then everyone else can flash and i can add to first post.
There's not really any risk of anything going wrong i just want to double check it flashs without problems. Whoever is nice enough to do this if you have any problems just flash thunder on top,sorry i would but don't have a phone yet.lol

Are we flashing the stopbugging.zip without doing any wipes or are we clearing everything and flashing this?
Nevermind. I saw the size and figured it needs to be flashed without doing anything else.

Did I read something about moving the otacerts.zip killing the battery because it makes the phone download the update over and over when it fails to verify?

I've been doing this for a long time it's not going to kill your battery,that person didn't know what they we're talking about.
