Just installed V1.4 and really like it but I have a couple of questions:
1. When I slide the unlock button screen flickers black for a split second. Is this by design or a glitch?
2. I downloaded quadrant and ran and benchmark and scored a 501. This seems way lower than what everyone else is reporting. Did I do something wrong on the benchmark or not enable something?

I also noticed these two exact issues. I actually scored a 503 on quadrant... What's up with that?
I'm guessing the "flickering" we're seeing is actually in regards to the screen animations that we are noticing in this new version (not previously in 1.3)...
1) it's not flickering, do it again but watch closely. hint, focus more closely on lower right hand side of the screen 
2) change log is in post # 1. Stage fright has been disabled.

Quadrant Scores:
Pre overclock, I got a 486.
after overclocking to 806 I got a 604
this IS much lower the the previous rom, which I was getting over 1400's on quadrant. Regardless, its still very quick and nimble. But I cant see just removing the stagefright causing an 800 quadrant drop. Is JIT enabled in this rom?

So the stagefright is responsible for the benchmark drop? I'm really new to android so i'm nott even sure what that is.

Yep as mentioned before you were getting high benchmarking scores but real life usage suffered specially in music and videos. So that's why it was disabled.
So performance is still there but now it doesn't score too high on benchmarking.

KsmithiNY - I think i asked this before. If I change the wallpaper to something else and then want to switch back to the one that is supplied with ThudnerROM where can I find it?

When flashing on my optimus T, it says that drive E has insufficient space.
I have 40mb internal free before factory reset/dalvik/cache wipe.

#2: didn't notice that in the change log. Was it worth the results to disable it? Whet was accomplished by disabling it? Better battery life?
You are flashing it on wrong phone. This is fro LG Optimus S which is not same as T
benchmark is showing an average of 1100 ...
on average a bit better than before... but i think works better with having to flash stagefright, etc. separately.
and on the lockscreen is nice..when u unlock like what ksmith said..look closely. its like being "thrown" ..for lack of a better word..
btw..i keep my notification bar hidden. but when i do need to bring it up (pressing home button) dig the effect ..better than just the reg. coming down from top motion.
and i myself notice this version runs the smoothest..

Whenever I click the Market icon it always opens up a window asking me if I want to add a google account. How do I fix this? Thanks!
Just log in, or setup a Gmail account using the Gmail app. I don't think this has anything to do with the ROM- It's just because you wiped your phone
Also I decided to install stagefreight out of curiosity- I got the same as ltrz
