Yeah, just tried a full reinstall. I've also tried flashing back to the xionia kernel. No luck. Finally tried flashing the explicit "JIT Only" buildprop just to make sure it wasn't anything stagefright related somehow... still nothing. After that, reflashed 1.6 again, and still nothing. In between each one, I've tried clearing the cache and dalvik-cache just to make sure nothing was hanging around. Really starting to wonder what's going on here. Might have to try moving all the photos off and then back on the phone in a bit just to see.

Im still trying to force the issue to happen to me but can't seem to get it to happen. I would say give the removing and replacing everything.

Aside from that, is there any way to easily see now what is enabled in the kernel? The 1.5 version showed this to you via a little "j" or "s" after the ROM name if I recall correctly. That doesn't seem to show up anymore.

Likewise, is it okay to still use the buildprop files provided in the other thread in order to flash between those options? Anything change between 1.5 and 1.6 that would cause those to need an update?

You can use the build,props that are on your sdcard or the ones in the other thread. Only thing is the name of the rom.

Shows me "ThundeROM-Deluxe", though I flashed the Deluxe buildprops without rebooting, so no idea if that's the normal name or not D:

But as far as I can tell, there's no stability issues from any of the old flashables; I'm using the old Build Props, Zefie's Kernel (so I can hit 806mhz), and one of Nick's themes, and no issues

You do know that both the kernels the one included in the rom and the one attached to the second post can both hit 806mhz . We just set the max booting speed to either 748 or 600.

Mine shows an 's' after flashing deluxe. Unfortunately, it shows 1.5s and not 1.6s, but I definitely have 1.6 (snazzy transparent notification drop-down!). No big deal, beezy says it's something he'd need to fix in the buildprops, I think.

Just updated to version 1.6 and have been real impressed with the update. Since I came from Stock ROM I had to reinstall the Sprint Apps. One of the apps that I use is NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile. I installed it from the sprint-apps zip file, and it installs just fine. But when I go run the app, I get an error. "NASCAR is only available for Sprint and Nextel Users", does anyone know how to get this to work?

As noted above the fix is in the thread here but we'll have an updated Sprint apps zip in post #2 that you'll need to flash from now on either:
1) After updating version (1.7, 1.8 etc)
2) If you decide to reflash the ROM over itself due to other reasons.

I flashed it last night and I'm really liking it so far. I had to dial back a bit on my overclock (806 wasn't stable anymore) but other than that, this is a lot nicer.

Thanks for taking a look, but I've finally gotten it working. I mounted the phone through USB, then moved all the images and videos off and back on the SD card. I also went in and deleted the "xxxxxx.cooliris.xxxxx" cache directory under the "Android" folder on the SD card.

Not sure which one of those did it necessarily, but after I went back in, all the thumbnails rebuilt finally.

I was able to install and open the NASCAR app now, but it forces me to install an update. Once I updated, it then forces me to turn airplane mode off/on, and will not let me go any farther. I have tried turning airplane mode off/on and rebooting, still not working.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hmm, didn't do a full read on it I guess (just gave it a quick glance to see if there were any gigantic "DONT FLASH THIS" issues then went ahead with it). Kernel isn't doing anything weird at the moment, so not going to worry about it right now.

Thanks I love the update... I just over clocked my phone to 825 MHz and it runz really smooth, of corce the battery dies faster but its just so awsome.

Once again, great job on this! My Optimus is running so smoothly and quickly. I also really like a lot of the little customizations, from the new transparent notification to the battery percentage from previous versions. You guys really made a smart and intuitive rom. Keep up the awesome work.

That said, I have a (possibly quite newbie) question. With the stock rom, I was getting a quadrant score of about 400. With ThundeRom 1.5, about 485. With 1.6, about 560.

I've seen some people posting about getting scores like 1200 with ThundeRom, and I was wondering how they were getting such high scores. Again, no complaints about 560 whatsoever - I am more than satisfied. More just curiosity than anything.

No tell her to go outside and play.lol Just kidding.I have it on my "to do list" it's high up there to get all or as much of the id stuff as i can for everyone. It's just taking time cause i have to jump back & forth from stockish to ThundeRom and im a hard head doesn't nadroid backup.lol
