Has anyone had any issues with Wifi? Mine is working fine now, but earlier it was turning off on it's own, then turning on. And I don't mean connecting and disconnecting...I mean the Wifi was turning off in the power bar. So far, everything else seems to work great. This problem has been intermittent however.

Yes, I had the same issue with wifi turning on and off after I update to 1.6. I power cycled the phone and it seems to have fixed it for now.
I'll keep an eye on this and report if it happens again.
I flashed to 1.6.2, so far so good.

If you either of you notice it happen again can you get "aLogcat from the market and let it run in the background,after a few minutes stop it and send it to me.

THanks for the quick response. It has been ~12 hours since my last flash with boot_600max and it is pretty stable. I might try to use setCPU to push it a little later today. Thanks.

One more thing, it seems that all the android system ringtones are gone? Is it right with this version? It was there in 1.5. Thanks.

It probably can it just doesn't like to boot at the 748max,you can flash the 600max then use setCPU or anyother overclocking app.Some phones are just picky.



So what if you get a call and the screens off,does it flip the radio on and let you answer?

SD Card Issues

Just a reminder to everyone, it's probably worthwhile to backup your SD card before updating. Never had an issue with any of the ThunderROM updates, but flashing to the latest .2 update corrupted my SD card. Nothing major, just a lot of app reinstalling to do.

Thanks for the updates guys, up until now the latest has been running flawless.

Have you switched sdcards since flashing? the ringtones are pushed to the sdcard while flashing,if nothing else flash 1.6.2 on top of itself and it should replace them.

Max OC that you can push it to with a OC app would be 864. If your asking me what i can OC to i can go to 864 but i only do that when bench marking,I have no need to run ay higher then 748.

Don't blame a rom for a bad sdcard. You might just need to format the sdcard for it to work. In two years I've very flashed a rom and had it kill a sdcard because all it does is read from the sdcard when flashing.

Thunder Rom V1.6.2

Yes, I suppose you're right. I was just curious because there was a lot of overhead in SetCpu. Thanks man.

Just a quick note..I had the Hero before this phone and tried nearly every ROM out there. I must say that I am impressed how everything works so well and how good looking all the mods are. Good stuff guys. Thank you.

ive been having some problems since flashing over from 1.5. Not ragging on this rom i love thunderom and greatly appreciate the hard work you guys are doing. since flashing over from 1.5 ive been getting the sd unmounting problem. i never had a problem with that on 1.5 for previous, will formatting the sd card help? this sd card is from my hero not the stock lg one. and ive been getting random reboots at night. i noticed because the TWS was back to 50%, i usually do the airplane trick after reboots. what can i do?
