What case did you get? I'm expecting the Ultra Hybrid S case from Spigen with a magnetic kickstand..

It was actually this one. I was receiving my phone earlier than I expected and had a case on order that won't be here until next week. So this case was the one I've been using.

I am also experiencing dead spots on my keyboard corresponding to the same area you noted. Basically i have to punch the letter hard to get it to type. Mostly a, s, e, x, d and spacebar.
It happens with or without cover. My covers not magnetic.
