Rooted my Incredible yesterday... used UnREvoked 3.2 and forever, Clockwork Mod, etc. (the usual, I think, based on all my reading on the various forums).
I installed SkyRaider 3.5, and reorganized my phone from scratch (i.e. reinstalled all my apps anew, just to be safe). I also did the Verizon Alltell PRL update, and flashed the proper Gingerbread Keyboard (which I REALLY like). The ROM is fine, but I'm back to using Launcher Pro as my interface, as I just really like it compared to Sense.
For root-related apps, I installed SetCPU (to try and help with battery life), ROM Manager, and I also changed the startup animation to the muted Nexus version (very cool!). I also have Titanium for backup in case I want to switch ROMS again, to hopefully make that whole process a bit easier.
So what else are the good things to do once rooted? I thought there was something that's supposed to be a surefire battery boost, but can't find what that was (something about calibrating or charging or something?).
