Deciding on a case

This is the case that I ordered even though I will be getting the Note8 in black.

I ordered the Encase holster for the Note8. It's the same company that makes the Verizon belt clip and holster for their phones. It looks good, and will do what I need it to do when the phone arrives.

Yes it has, I got it from Verizon and now it's also available from the Otter Box website. Here is a picture of it beside a Spigen tough armor case.

I love the otterbox. Torn betwen that and the UAG. The otterblx is nice-i have a defender on my D8+ often and it makes carrying it feel much more secure and the textured surface feels great when holding it-Not slippery like some other cases

I like the Nilkin cases. They are thin but provide ample coverage for me. Plus it has great texture for grip so I feel my phone so t slip from my hand. I have I Ringke and 1 spigen with a Ringke screen protector. What I get with all my phones are Otterbox Commuter. The defender to bulky. Love the Commuter works great.

Some people have smaller hands and bulky cases are not suitable. Rhinoshield seems popular here though. Heard it is in pre-order stage

Yeah, I currently have the blue case on my S7E, and I had it on the Note7. I ordered both Black and Blue before and always ended up returning the black. I picked up the black since itbwas all they had, and I'm getting another black device, so maybe I'll keep the case that way this time... or I might just see if the blue becomes available from Amazon after I get the black one, and exchange them, lol
