Dialpad not working during phone call?

Hello,

I'm having a problem with my galaxy s6, the Dialpad isn't working during a phone call.

For example, when calling my local poker room it says "press 2 to connect to the lobby" when I press 2 nothing happens, I've tried multiple and even 800 numbers and no luck

Recently wiped cache partition, hard reset nothing it working.

Bring the phone to the carrier. It could be a defective phone, it could be a problem with the way they have your account set up. Even I have the same issue..
I brought Galaxy S6 edge via verizon at full price no contract.
It rarely works at times.

Please let us know the solution.:'''(

I would still go to verizon. The phone comes with a 1 year warranty nonetheless

1.settings
2. tap applications
3. tap phone
4.tap DTMF tones
5. choose long
and your done...
i have my galaxy s6 from verizon and thats my problem too, i found out just right now..

How do I get a dial pad to show at all times during a call?
I cannot find "DTMF tones" in settings

Thanks so ******* much man!!!! You're a genius! Everyone thus works I have a unlocked verizon note 3 for tmobile and this was an issue I thought I would need a new or exchange but this works.

THANK YOU!!! Just helped a coworker I sold my Note 3 to. Only side note:

At least on the Note 3 you have to go to the phone app first then go to the settings before you can find those options.

~thanks man this worked to perfectly on my father's samsung Note 4 only change on your list was 4. Phone it changed to (call) common sense told me to choose it so after that it was a breeze YOUR THE MAN!

I changed the DTMF tones to LONG from Normal, and still the number pad won't allow me to select options on phone trees, but only some companies; I can call my insurance company, for instance, but not the city offices. I can call Medicare but not Toyota. I took the phone in to have someone else try the same companies that won't work on my phone, and it works fine for them. So now I can't say my phone never works, but it never works for some companies. And I can't say it's only the company, because others can call them, just not me. I'm baffled!
