The three carriers blocking Google wallet are blocking it because they have a financial interest in ISIS. I have not used it because I feel it is downright immoral that they are blocking GW. They "claim" they can't be sure of the security in the NFC secure element built into the device, and but they can with the one on their issued SIM cards. It's a major farce on the part of the carriers to force you to use the system they have a vested interest in, instead of actually relying on competition. You are being force to use ISIS so they make money. I have no idea if it's better than or GW or not, because I'm not given the option of trying both. There is a group trying to force VZW to stop blocking GW due to their agreement not to block apps using the C block spectrum.
