ok it recognizes and i am mounted, but wont mounting prevend ABD from being able to push anything?
after it reboots, and if you cant mount unplug the phone for a couple seconds and plug back in , then try again

i dont use that stuff, thats up to you i heard it works, im sure it loads all type of verizon stuff up
i didnt update. but were still in the same boat should i try a different driver? i have tried 2 so far. i think there is one left
none will work the way you want it to , just stick with the one that let you connect,,, later on you can try different kernels to get it to work
ok i tried reinstalling all the drivers and the other 2 wont mount at all so im back with the one that will only recognize with mount only. im thinking im SOL
if it recognizes with mount than you can get a Adb connections... you should just upgrade to froyo i am going to try to make a video tonight on how to do that and hopefully have it by tommorow

in froyo this usb issue seems to be resolved and once you flash froyo you will automatically be rooted
cool ill wait for the vid ive been at this issue for about 5 hours and im going to seep on it. thanks for all you help seriously!!!
My phone is all stock with the DL09 + rooted + titanium backup (froze all the bloatware)
If I do the update for EA28, will it cause any error? Or do I have to unfreeze my apps and/or unroot to do a successful update??

Skip ea28 and flash the dl30 froyo. It's very stable in my experience. It will fix the bugs. If you want ea28 defrost and ota the ea28. You may lose root. You made it this far though. Happy flashing.
I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm running EB01 (FROYO) and am having issues trying to root. I've used FascinateR00t_V02 to root previous builds and it worked fine in the past. I'm just having issues trying to root EB01. After the final reboot I don't have root access (tried launching Titanium backup and Root Expolorer). Here is what I am seeing after running Start_Root.bat
