Yeah Oreo isn't bad. At least it's Stable. I'm going to wait a little.
I agree

According to Samsung Support Pie has been released and it is up to the carriers to push it out.....
My only 2 issues are you have to either have the 3 screen buttons (home back recents)showing all the time instead of the old UI where they would dissapear or have them set to swipe up, maybe theres a way around this and the other thing is I can't find a setting to answer a call with tap instead of swipe, but if that's all that's wrong then I'm pretty happy.
For an app switcher, list is perfect. Not those huge pdeudo-preview things.
And sorry, yes, it's the blue bubbles on the notification shade. I went straight to Good Lock to change them, except you can't because that doesn't work anymore

I can help
on the new one UI
you can have buttons or 3 little square at the bottom for gestures but if you turn off help/tip gestures you don't see anything bottom of the screen and become like full gestures
on Oreo you can hide the nav buttons but had to swipe up to use them .
Oh thanks buddyI actually just watched a clip from a story on how it works. Ha I think I will like just swiping and not seeing the buttons at all lol. Did you like it?
Thanks also @MustangOh thanks buddyI actually just watched a clip from a story on how it works. Ha I think I will like just swiping and not seeing the buttons at all lol. Did you like it?
I don't know how much Good Lock will let us customise the panel but based on previous versions, it would at least be colours and shading. Maybe the shapes too? Hope so...OH! I did not know that Goodlock would allow changing of the Quick Settings icons!
C'MON GOODLOCK!!!
I've got the public release. Downloaded it 24 hours ago. I'm in the UK. I bought my Note 9 SIM free from Samsung, so it's not tied to a carrier.According to Samsung Support Pie has been released and it is up to the carriers to push it out.....

Sorry, that post has come out a bit jumbled up...
My question was for Mustang:
Do you know how to do switch to last app with the gestures on? Obviously you can't double tap as you do with buttons...
My right button is my back button so swiping right just does a back.Button last on right swipe up from it
My right button is my back button so swiping right just does a back.
My left button is my recents button so swiping up gives a list (with the big graphics) of all my recent apps.
But with the old button config, a double tap of my recents button would jump me straight back into my last open app. It's this that I can't figure out how to do with gestures.![]()
Forgive me as I'm a little confused lol. I don't have one ui yet but on oreo as we swipe up anyways when have it set to disappear. If you can set it to swipe up on one ui, what's the difference? Again sorry just confused. Lol. I sure wouldn't care for home buttons staying visible all the time. Like my home buttons out of site til need them.
But it seems there's no shortcut to get you straight into your last app. You have to bring the list up and select it instead.Yeah in your case you have it on the left , yes the big graphics is your recent app your in and bottom of that is recent app used
Edit: everything with swipe action now
+1 for the UI and also the display being a bit sharper and cleanerYeah it's just something of a minor change for me as I got used to the Oreo way of doing things but by no means is it a negative, it's basically the same.
I find battery life pretty much the same as before, the UI itself seems to look sharper and cleaner also.
