Does anyone regret ditching their GS4 for the X? Or are you glad you did it?

Do you regret switching from the GS4 to Moto X?

Looooong time reader, first time thread starter. I did some searches, but haven't found anyone thats talked about regretting or enjoying the switch. I've seen opinions on the HTC One, but I'm just curious about the S4. Camera in S4 is great but extremely slow, I hate having to use an iphone just so I can take a fast picture. S4 also seems kinda slow, and I can't throw a Dev edition Rom on due to the bootloader. So just a thought, if this has already been a thread feel free to delete and redirect me! haha

I think the S4 has issues with TouchWiz hogging up too much resources.

Yeah me too, I had one on Sprint running the Google Play Edition rom and loved it! Unfortunately my verizon account is the one I use more and it's locked down!

S4 is too bloated and have so many issue
I love my Moto X. I would leave S4 in a heart beat(i dont own one but i have played with it)

I dislike the fact that the Samsung gimmicks are not deletable. Or why not add an option of which ROM do you want to load upon unboxing?

I definitely have no regrets, the S4 was just too gimmicky, and too big for my personal tastes. So far the X has been a great device for my everyday use.

If that was something 4.4 did, in at the very least let you make it disappear. Alot of people will say "Oh, just throw Nova on and it's like stock".... yeah, until you pull your notifications bar down, try and open the camera app real quick. Hell even the dialer is slow! If you could change the WHOLE theme, similar to flashing a theme on a Rom, that would be amazing. I just don't see it happening due to Samsung wanting us to use their App store and features. The BEST gimmick Samsung ever created was multi-window! I love that feature, I wish Google would just rip them off!

Keeping my S4, but my Moto X will be my daily driver at least until the Nexus 5 comes. Keeping the S4 as a backup for the family and in case they update it for the Galaxy Gear. I figure I will be able to try one for much less $$$ soon.

On the 16GB Model Moto X I had, the update really improved the camera. It was better than the nexus 4 and probably equal to my S4 Google Edition. My 32GB Moto X gets delivered today so looking forward to it!

I'm thinking about doing that as well. I do like to test apps we build on 1080p as well, I hate using simulators. So I'll have the option open if I need to go back.
