Does Eris have an "Alarm only" sound setting?

Useful when using the alarm clock and you don't want your sleep to be disturbed by random emails arriving in the middle of the night. I know I could probably turn off notification sounds but that seems way too complicated. My old Moto Z6 had the ability to turn off all other sounds EXCEPT the alarm just by rolling the volume rocker down... just before all-off was an alarm-only setting.

Any easy way to do this with the Eris, or do I need an App? And if an App, which do you recommend?

check out cVolume from the market, it allows for TONS of controls of various volumes and settings

Actually, my bad. Adjusting the volume up/down controls all the sounds EXCEPT the alarm. That is only adjustable by hitting the volume buttons when in the alarm-setting screen. So you can quiet your phone without muting the alarm. Sweet

My clock alarms still sound in the "sound off" condition...

Hold down end call hardware button... select "sound off" from menu. I have an icon on the toolbar of a music note with a strike-through slash. My clock alarms still function but my calls and notification alarms are silenced.

Let me give my suggestion, "Quick Profiles" .... It gets a 4.5 stars from me! Every sound category is customizable to each profile you create.
