Dolby Atmos

I see a big difference in quality with Dolby Atmos even without headphones. Watched some Battlefield 1 videos on YouTube and toggled it on and off and when on it sounded fuller. Also set it to movie settings instead of auto. I figured Atmos would have just simulated top and bottom but it also brought in fuller sound in phone speakers.

I agree, I had it on my S9+, and I would put it on par with LG's DAC

Agree, it's almost like sound from a great quality speaker straight from the phone. Massive difference to the note 8 sound

There is a switch in the toggle panel when you pull down the notification bar
Or just go into sounds in the settings menu

I couldn't tell ya I just know I had to go into settings and turn it on, and it's pretty immersive for a phone listening experience.

Yeah mine was off by default too, just curious why it didn't come on.

Dolby Atmos is the best thing about the media experience on this phone. That, coupled with the great display, makes this phone totally worth it.

Yes the sound surprised me big time and it's about time we get some decent sound.

you can also fine tune it if you go further into the settings of Dolby Atmos
