DQA urgent update

My wife received the update around 7 AM EST, but I didn't receive it until around 2:00 PM EST
We're both on T-Mobile

No update yet for Verizon, but the "force stop" method seems to have fixed the issue for now on my S8+

It will probably come back. I had it again, usually 5 to 10 times, then it would go away for awhile. I broke down and bought a nuker app.

Didn't find anything in samsung apps. On Verizon and dqa is really annoying. Anyone know what the name of the update is so I can search for it on samsung apps?

Have you force stopped the dqa? It won't cure it but it should help. I doubt you'll find the update as it looks like they're just using that as the push avenue.

Got this on my T-Mobile S8 as well. Installed the update after getting the notification after rebooting.

So while chatting with Verizon support online, they are saying to do a factory reset or wait till mid May for their next update. It seems that maybe Verizon customers won't be seeing the fix that Samsung has been sending out to t mobile and Sprint customers and probably others as well. So if that is all they know at Verizon then it doesn't look good

Well mine came in...

From what others have said that won't fix it either as it's obviously a bug in the OS running now. Standard answer if they don't have any idea how to fix something.

Very true. I had screen burn in on my LG V10 and all they kept telling me to do was a factory reset. Anyone that knows anything about phones or screens knows that is not a software issue.
