Sure, looks good. But I'm not convinced. If HTC One was on Verizon I'd pick it over the S4. Also, I still have high hopes for whatever Motorola brings out. I'm the type that doesn't like being with the crowd, so S4 is unappealing in that way too.

Um, not only is HTC One on VZW, there's a dev edition that's fully unlocked both sim and bootloader.

I didn't look at it all in detail, but most everything seems gimmicky to me. 8 phones playing the same song? Who needs that? It's not something that changes our world, like google now did. I really think Motorola and google are going to wow us again this year.

Was just reading up on the HTC One and I'm seriously torn between the 2. Really like build and design of the One. Those front facing speakers seem like an awesome idea...in theory. The only thing thing gave me pause is the One is only listed as starting with 4.1 but the SG4 will ship with 4.2.2.

I believe that was an example of the features, while appearing cool, being just gimmicks. No need to make it personal, it lessens your argument anyway.

My only skepticism is not to buy their own marketing hype. Everyone says how great they/their products are. Once people who don't benefit from the marketing start writing it, then I would take notice.

Funny that you say don't buy into the marketing hype seeing as you are a bionic owner who has been on here many times complaining.

Like i mentioned, i haven't had time this evening to look very in depth into the unveiling, I was at drill all night. Tomorrow I'll look more in depth. Just at first glance i wasn't very impressed.

I don't get how we bought into the hype with the Bionic. At the time it was released everything indicated it was going to be an excellent device. Did we know then that we'd end up getting treated like the proverbial red headed step child by Moto/VZW. No we didn't. And this is just my experience outside of the ICS/JB update BS I've had zero issues with it & still love 18 months later.
