Here's the lowdown on the download.
Start Download Time:7:55
End Download Time: 8:10
End Verifying Time: 8:12 (Restarted Phone)
End Installing Time: 8:27
End Upgrading Apps:8:32 (I had 127 Apps it had to upgrade so this time is user specific depending on how many apps you have)

So all totaled it took about 37 minutes from download to being able to use it.

First impression you will notice a little change in appearance of the drop down screen.
I use Business Calender and had to choose my account to sync to it again before it would show my events.
Had to update Google Search I guess to use Google Now which is very cool.
The phone was extremely laggy initially but settled in and seems fine. No noticeable improvement in smoothness from ICS but that fine because my phone was very smooth anyway.
The camera icon looks different to me but I am not sure. Don't really remember what it looked like but looks different anyway.
Will post again after I play with the phone to see what else is different. Good luck with your download.

You posted this literally right after my post saying not to do this? Sigh. A huge problem is right. You've no idea how much so. You'll be taking a trip through the house of bionic to get a working phone and you WILL lose root in the process. I'll post exact instructions a bit later.

Install the latest House of Bionic if you haven't. You'll need the 246 FXZ installed. Next create a 987222 directory, and put the update zip in it. Then get this file:

And drop that in the 987222 directory. Put your phone in AP Fastboot mode (Power off, hold volume down and press power) and connect it to USB. Run the HouseOfBionic bat file. Select 987222 options, then select reinstall. This requires that the update zip is still on your sdcard-ext. You WILL lose root doing this, but, it will restore your phone to a working device and not destroy your data partition.

Nice! This is what mine did when I tried to flash the 4.2 keyboard! I had to use HoB to FXZ 246 and then use the update.zip from stock recovery! It's also how I lost root, but at least my phone is working again!

It's SUPPOSED to say that in RSD. I am very clear about that in the instructions. "update fails" gives me absolutely nothing at all to work with.

Ok, so the update process went smoothly for my stock, never rooted phone, but I now have a very specific bluetooth issue. I have posted in the motorola forums, but it seems as though my issue is isolated. So here's the problem, after I initiate a voice command to place a call from either my Chevy truck, or my plantronics voyager pro headset, the phone decides all by itself to activate its headphone speaker and microphone. This results in a very nasty echo. I can stop the echo by accessing the in-call menu, selecting the phone's headset, then re-selecting the bluetooth device.
I've already tried un-pairing the devices, and re-pairing. I even did a FDR, and still no luck. Does anyone have any other suggestions? This issue has completely screwed hands-free calling for me. Well, any help is appreciated. Thanks...

Then it failed to flash system. That is an error that is caused by having bootstrap installed. You're sure you chose the REINSTALL option?

Woke up to it installing and it appeared to go well. I got that GUI message mentioned a few pages back but had to leave for work so i don't know if the fix they mentioned worked for sure yet. (Usually the people here know what they are talking about so i'm not worried about it not being fixed.) It seems stable from what i played with so far. I want it to settle in more because the battery is draining more quickly than i anticipated. This happened with ICS and a factory reset ended up taking care of that problem after a few days.

It seems worth downloading for those pushing it off to wait and see how everyone else is holding up. Everything transitions a little bit smoother and there are a handful of cosmetic changes that are nice. I haven't tried Google Now yet as i was running late for work because i was playing with the phone. I am running stock and didn't root or anything fancy you technical guys know how to do.

Interesting... I defrosted all my apps, installed voodoo, downloaded updated, started the install, got halfway through and the little android guy keeled over with a Exclamation Mark on him. Phone reboots and says "Updated failed". A quick check on the usual forms indicates a factory reset usually fixes the issue. I may try that next.

I don't have a fix for you., but I am also having a bluetooth problem, but not the same as yours.

When my bluetooth device initiates a call, I used to get the Voice Commands app come up and then I say who I was calling. Was very accurate. Now when I initiate a call with bluetooth, it comes up with a different Google voice command app instead of the actual Voice Commands app which is still on my Bionic. The Google app apparently does not understand me because it never gets the name correct. I hope someone has a fix for this. I want to switch the bluetooth selection to the prior Voice Commands app.

This is the entire log from today everytime I attempted to use the HoB I followed your instructions I created a 987222 directory, and put the JB update zip in it as well as the boot image I downloaded from you. I placed that in the HoB. I already had the update for JB on my ext sd card so I was all set. The HoB I have been using since it's inception the 246 fxz was already in the Hob from the ICS updates but to be sure after the first failure I downloaded and re-installed it in the HoB. I hope this helps.

I can tell you right now that log is NOT from a reinstall option. It's from the fix CDT option. So, I don't know what to tell you.

Do you know any cool key commands for the lapdock? I got one but never use it. I'd like a page down (when browsing the web) and page left and right key command (when trying to move screens on the homescreen). If I could learn that I may sell my Nexus 7.

On the lapdock 500 at least, I can just use the left/right arrows while on the homescreen to move between screens. You have to hold it down for a second or otherwise it just moves between selected app icons on the screen.
