Droid Incredible Shipping?

I ordered my phone in store on 6/1. I just got off the phone with *611. Talked to the CSR who had no information other than to tell me it was supposed to ship 6/22 but it hasn't shipped yet. I asked for a supervisor who told me they are experiencing 5 DAY DELAYS on this phone. So whoever ordered between 6/1 - 6/3 and have gotten their phones already should consider themselves lucky because I ordered mine 6/1 and I'm looking at 6/28 for a ship date.

But who knows, I could call tomorrow and be given completely different information.

I wish I knew who you guys are talking to. I ordered 6/3 with a ship date of 6/24. When I calll to confirm it will ship on time all they tell me is they don't know. Anyone with a 6/3 order gotten a shipping conformation yet?

I'm an in-store ordered/confirmed 6/3 order. And I've heard a whole lot of nothing so far.

Just got off the phone with customer service and was told it should ship today and I should get the tracking by 6:30 tonight. The rep said fed-ex does not pick up the phones untill 4:30 or 5 and it takes a while for the tracking to update. Hope it helps.

Not to ruin your bbq, but I wouldn't hold your breath. The reps seem to not know what is really going on and have come up with some really interesting stories. Mine shipped yesterday, received e-mail at 1:45. Tracking states it was picked up "at place of origin" at 11:30am, so I'm not really convinced this is true, but still, best of luck to you!

I honestly dont believe any of the customer service people, they just want to get you off the phone so you stop complaining to them. I wouldn't believe anything they said, but I hope this one is right! hahaha

I just called the store, again, to see if tracking info populated. He told me no tracking number yet.

He also told me that, according to the database he was looking at, the order should ship no later than tomorrow based on my order date (6/5). The issue with that is I am out of town on Monday and Tuesday, which means I will miss the 2 delivery attempts FedEx will try. Which means my DInc will get sent back! This is no good.

I'm calling back tomorrow to see if it actually does ship, and contacting FedEx about options I'd have for the delivery. If there is no tracking info tomorrow, that's a good thing, as it won't go out until Monday and I can just have them leave it on Tuesday (getting back early Tuesday).

Never thought I'd say it, but hope my DInc stays in the warehouse for a bit longer...

I doubt very much that your 6/5 order will ship tomorrow 6/25 like the cs said, I'm a 6/4, and I don't even think I'm going to have it shipped until monday 28th. 6/2's orders are still waiting, and definitly 6/3's are still waiting. Unless they got some huge amount of phones that are going out tomorrow that will cover up until 6/5, which I doubt, then you and I will probably be monday or tues before it ships. But I'll wish it sooner right along side of ya if it helps.

I'm a 6/2. Still not definitive answer. Keep getting different answers everytime I call.

I have to agree about the CS reps, I ordered 6/3 the the ship by date being 6/24 (today) I called for the tracking number and she told me it hasn't shipped yet, When i said My ship by date was today she put me on hold to check the shipping schedule and five minutes later told me that they are shipping 21 days after order which would be today, so it is scheduled to ship today but they wont have the tracking number in the system for 24 hours. she got flustered when I verified they wouldn't have a tracking number until after it was delivered since its overnight. so I am guessing it is not shipping today.

Cancel order for Droid X

Ordered my Incredible 6/9 at VZW store, promised ship date 6/30. Just got off phone with VZW and was told it will be shipping 6/30, overnight via FEDEX. Was also told that if I refuse the shipment, I will not have to pay the $35 restocking fee and I can go ahead and order the Droid X on July 15. They are doing this for ALL folks who have an Incredible on backorder. Pretty cool. Now to decide if I want to refuse it or not LOL.

I'm a 6/9 too and I will believe it when I see the email and get the tracking number. I'm not getting my hopes up yet....
