Droid Incredible Shipping?

I have a question. I ordered my incredible from a verizon store on 6/23 and was told that
it would be shipped to my house in 4-5 weeks.

Can I expect to get a shipping notice a couple of days before my phone is delivered to my house? Thanks!

the email address on the account should get an email with a shipping notice that also includes your tracking number. worst case just call CSR around the date they told you it should ship and theyll let you know whats up
 
Maybe you should call 611 to try to nail down a shipping date. The store gave me 3 different possible ship dates and I called and they gave me a "definite" date. Now that was about 3 weeks ago and the "definite" ship dates are getting delayed so take that for what it's worth. Maybe when you order they're not being as detailed with dates since they've had so many delay's.

Anyway, my point is, 611 told me to call back on my expected ship date to get the tracking info, and maybe if you have a certain date to call back on, you could get your shipping info that way. I don't think it's for sure that people are getting emails or texts with the info, so I'm just going to call to be sure.

This Friday!!! AAHHH!

If you ordered it from online on their website you will. If you orderd at store or by phone I am not so sure you will get a tracking number in email.

every time i have ordered in store i have gotten an email...not sure about phone....

best way as said though is to call 611 and just talk to them
 
Ugh - I hope it makes it on the truck tomorrow! I would expect it to, but the way this whole process has been I'm afraid I've got no expectations left! :eek:

I am sure it will just be home or have a note on your door or someone that can sign for it .Mine came 3 hrs earlier then the before 3 time on email
 
hello all. i spent the weekend with the incredible and its awesome and yours will be coming earlier than you think, the wait is totally worth it. And for those who are considering the droid x, htc sense dominates moto blur even if its been updated.

Ordered over the phone on 6/9.
Original ship date (as quoted by sales rep) 6/23.
Revised ship date 6/30.
Acutal ship date 7/2.

According to FedEx tracking, I'll have it by 7pm tomorrow. I'm in PA, and it shipped from CA. ?!?
 
I am fedup!! I ordered my Incredible on 5/25 from a retail store (not corporate) called Wireless Zone as that is where my work gets our phones from and I am still waiting for it. I was told by the rep when I ordered that it would be available on 6/14. I did not hear from him so I called three times and sent an email throughout the week. Finally that friday 6/18 he called and told me that they received 8 in that week and I was number 11 on the list! Likely story (at least I wasn't number 9). He then told me that they should be getting some more in on the week of 6/21. Well you guessed it...notta. I called again and left another voicemail, no response! I sent an email asking how I could spend my $25 gift card from Verizon...no response!!

I am frustrated over the customer service this place provides and just wish my work would let me deal with a corporate store. I am still struggling to figure out how dealing with a retail store (besides Best Buy) over a corporate store is better.

You do realize that the Droid X doesn't have motoblur...or ANY kind of blur for that matter, right?

Yes, you will get a tracking number before it is shipped, most likely. Some people haven't, though.

That's putting it mildly!!! :mad: I live in Michigan. My hunch is that they are filling new orders over upgrades, which is totally wrong in my opinion.

The rep did suggest switching to the Droid X. I told him that I am still interested in the Incredible and would like to continue my order. I also mentioned that I would try the Incredible and that if I choose to switch to the Droid X I will do that within the 30 day window. His response was "Ok, I will also reserve a Droid X for you and then we'll see which one comes in first"

Not real impressed and this experience has definitely confirmed that I will never deal with a retail store again, especially Wireless Zone!!. I use a corporate store for my personal account and am always pleased with the service.

Because this forum is titled "Droid Incredible Shipping" and is nearly 400 pages long. For him/her to be too lazy to look at two or three of those pages to find their answer is rude.

I'm sorry if other people don't find it obtuse and haughty, and I wasn't attempting to be pretentious in my post, but that's just a little something I've learned from years and years of forum usage.

I just checked my FedEx status and it's on the truck out for delivery my only hope is that they come after my wife gets home from work!
