I ordered on 5/18 so I keep doing the same, but I'm seeing people ordering on 5/18 and 5/19 are getting their notices...so it's just making me more impatient because I haven't gotten anything. I think I need to stop thinking about it for awhile...

This won't be what you want to hear. I am 50 miles from the west coast of Oregon and I ordered 5/19 in a store. No email, nothing yet. I did call Verizon yesterday and she said it would ship by the 9th, which is next Wednesday. I'm trying to be patient and not having a great deal of success... I was told when I ordered the DI that they were being shipped "pretty fast". Yeah, right. Complain, moan...

Is it also true that people who ordered online seem to be getting email notice and maybe a day earlier than those who bought at the store?

Just wondering.

When i went in the store after i ordered mine, on the 20th in store and waiting for a shipping date, to ask about the DINC my wife order online, the rep told me that in store orders get priority over online orders. Don't know if the rep was just blowing sunshine or not, just what he told me.

I'm in Omaha, Nebraska. I ordered 5/18 thru telesales.
No shipping confirmation (they had the wrong email address for me in their system). Called customer service today & was given the tracking number! It shipped today from Memphis & will deliver by 3pm tomorrow!!!!

Had a replacement phone (brand new within 30 days) sent to me. Called it in on 5/18 and got an email that i had ordered a new phone and would be shipped within two days.

Just recieved today with no shipment confirmation/tracking email sent. Just appeared out of no where as I came home to a fedex tag on my door.

I called and they had some at the local BB's in NYC last sunday but I decided to wait until the extended battery and Innocase II came.....

Now I have a nice case, an extended battery and twiddling my thumbs waiting for my DI ....to top it off I get to listen to all my boys who are getting the EVO tommororw and i'm sitting here with my Storm 1......ughhhhhhhhhhhh

I have the same order date as you. Based on reading some of the posts this past week, I suspect we should be receiving our phones by the 10th at the earliest and 14th at the latest. My money is on Friday the 11th.

I'm a patient man and have my Tmo myTouch3G to keep me company.

As for people getting their EVO's tomorrow....I'm not sure I would want a 4.3" screen on a phone I carry around everyday. Just seems too big for my personal use.

well I just decided to pull up my Verizon account on a whim and I see that I was just charged for the incredible.

I ordered it on 5/21 and was told I would not be billed until the phone shipped. So I immediately call VZW to see if they have a tracking number and they say they do not show that it shipped yet. So which one is right? Do I need to stand guard at my front door for the FEDEX guy tomorrow or is it just a mix up at big red and my est. ship date of 6/11 still holds true?

I finally got tracking info. I had to call and talk to customer service to get it because I did not receive an email. Finally it has shipped. Should have it Monday. This is going to be an extremely long weekend. LOL

you get charged for the device right away, but what they mean by you not getting charged until you get your device is that they wont start charging you for your new monthly plan (the plan which your incredible is on) until you activate your phone.

that makes sense but that is not what I was told the a CSR. She told me I absolutely would not be billed for the phone until it ships. She even went so far as to say since it will not ship till after June 1st and your bill cuts on the 1st that it will not be on your bill until July's bill. I have ordered several phones like this before and my account is never billed until the phone goes out, just wondering why this would be any different. Oh well, either way i only have a week left to wait at the most.

I don't know all VZ's policies, and wouldn't even want to guess at why they do half the things they do they way they do them, but I can tell you my charge for my Dinc went through mere minutes after my order.
