Droid Incredible Shipping?

When I called to check on mine.. which I ordered on June 10th the VZW rep said they did up me to overnight shipping for free... I thought they were doing this with everyone...
 
I order over the phone. I didn't get the over-night shipping only because, if shipped on-time, it would have been delivered on a day I was not at work, so I left it at two day shipping. Ever since though, I've been trying to upgrade to on shipping, but they are not able to do it unless I cancel my order and re-order. I'm not doing that for one day!
 
Just got an e-mail from VZW. Ordered on 6/1, ship by date 6/22, actual ship date 6/22, arrival 6/24. Ordered in the midwest. Im sooo f******* excited...i feel like a little school boy :D
 
Do we receive emails if we ordered in store? I am pretty sure that they had an email on file for my account but is there an email sent out to you if ordered in store, i ordered 6/3 7PM and i know i am going to end up seeing it monday.

I placed an order, in-store, on 6/6, and the Verizon rep told me to call back "in about two weeks" to check on the order. I knew it wasn't going to be ready, but called today for the hell of it. She looked it up on the computer and was able to offer this helpful piece of information:

"Umm, nothing is in the computer yet. So, well...it shoooould be here by the end of the month, I'd think. So just, if you want to give a call back in a few days."

Verizon should work harder to keep their staff up to date. There's no reason why bonehead me should know more about this situation than their employees.

Ordered 6/4 was told 6/28, called today was told July 4th all Incredibles are 28 days from ship date, hoping the rep is clueless and I get a tracking email soon.

Inquired about the X she sounded just as clueless, said she got an email today and the X will be out in a month or so.....very vague. Asked if I could cancel the Incredible and wait she said no but i could send it back when it arrived, thus far not impressed with Verizons reps. Seems to be a ton of conflicting information handed out by them.
 
They are a massive company, but they should really keep all of their customer-facing employees updated on the situation. Like JKett said, when us non-employees who are not 'in-the-loop' know more than someone that SHOULD have, at least, correct and up-to-date information there's a breakdown in communication. Even at the stores, if the managers took an active role and had a weekly meeting or memo to hand out, that would be better than an employee passing out obviously incorrect info.

yea, i ordered in a corporate store and I did receive an e-mail
 
jKett - I ordered same day - 6/6 - and crossing my fingers for delivery before the weekend (I really don't think it's going to happen, but I'm hopeful). I have a long trip to FL from IL on Sunday and return on Monday (6/28) and would love to have my new Inc for the trip!
 
In their defense they have no info available until it ships. I'm 6/1 order and called today to check for a tracking #.

Her response, "I don't see that it has shipped. Let me check on the estimated date......Looks like it won't ship until the 22nd."

Umm, hun, what day is today?

i wonder how annoyed all the CSR's r getting with soooo many people calling about the status of their droid... LOL... i call every day to see if it changes bc im annoyed that i was told in store 6/23 ship date and that was incorrect info :-(

Yeah, I assume they hate their job at the moment.

I hope you get it in time for your trip. It would definitely make the ride feel shorter. ;)

Unfortunately, if the 6/1's aren't getting notifications today, it'll take a miracle for any 6/6's to be shipped on Thursday in time for your Friday departure.

Keeping my fingers crossed, though. For your sake and mine.
